This is a beautiful beach! Bathrooms, showers, picnic tables, shade trees, grills and walking distance from the ferry! You can snorkel here, but the current is strong so buddy up! There are interesting tidal pools to the left of the beach, so make sure to walk over and check them out. Also make sure to hike up to Sweetheart Rock,... More

Spent our day going off road and falling in love with this island. Stopped here for some beach and snorkel time. Great snorkeling off to the sides, Nice set up with tables, showers and bathrooms. The sand was Soooo hot!! So bring water shoes or be prepared to run to the cool water soaked sand!

Hawaii has many world-class snorkeling sites but few as accessible from a beach as Hulopoe Beach in Lani. The waters are full of so many species of fish that it's intoxicating, in a good way. The parrot fish are gigantic as this is protected park. The beach itself is even nice. Important: Bear in mind that Lanai is a private... More

We took a day trip to Lanai from Lahaina and toured the island. At the end of the day we were at Hulopoe Beach. The snorkeling was fantastic. Many underwater formations for the fish to thrive. Excellent bathroom and shower facilities. This beach is within walking distance 0.2 miles of the ferry terminal. Many picnic tables for sitting and reading... More

The Beach is located at the Four Seasons Manele Bay. You can access the beach by walking from the harbor. Beach has facilities and easy access and parking. The snorkeling along the left side is awesome. Go as far as possible out near the point. Watch for turtles in the deeper water.

Take at least a day - catch the early ferry ( book in advance,) to Lanai, walk around the corner from the ferry landing at Manele Bay to Hulopoe Beach and enjoy some of the best snorkelling in Hawaii "and" if you are a good swimmer and the Dolphins are in, it will be a real experience to remember. Great... More

Gorgeous sandy beach located very close to the four seasons at manale bay. Plenty of parking available and some facilities on site. It features a long stretch of sand that is great for catching some rays. To the left of the beach you can walk/hike to some beautiful coves and sea arches. Very few people will be around so take... While approaching Lanai from Manele Bay, one cannot see the unbelievable view that is from Hulopoe Bay. It is about a 10 minute walk over to Hulopoe Bay. Here there are lots of different birdlife, including several type of colorful cardinals and doves at the bay. When arriving at Hulopoe Bay, take a short 5 min. walk on the left... More

This is a great beach to snorkel, boogie board, or depending on the day do a little surfing. It is also a great place to just sit and watch all the beach activity. The kids seem to really love playing in the surf here. There are also clean facilities here as well as picnic areas with grills to cook on.... More

We went to this beach today. Took the ferry over from Maui (we are staying at Ka'anapali) for the day and were disappointed. Yes, we saw the spinner dolphins and about 8 people WAY OUT trying to swim with them (can you say shark bait - they were nuts in my opinion). We walked from the ferry to the beach... More
