We went to this beach when the Four Seasons was still under construction. It was beautiful! It was by far the most crowded beach on the island (I think there were three other couples/families there, so really not crowded at all.)

One of the best fish bowls you'll ever snorkel, and you'll want to do it more than once. You can take one of the many day boats from Lahaina; take the ferry and walk the short distance from the wharf; stay at the 4Seasons if its open; or even camp. Bring a lunch. There are no vendors. Perfect place for... More

After having tried many beaches on the islands, this is pur favorite spot for snorkeling - hundreds of feet, especially towards Sweethart Rock, high visibility and abundant sealife right from the beach.

We were introduce to Hulopoe Beach snorkeling as one of the attractions on Trilogy's Lanai Experience catamaran trip from Lahaina, Maui and found the snorkeling by far the best of any location we found during our 10 day stay in Kaanapali. (That included a trip to Honolua Bay.) One of the striking features of snorkeling here were the large schools... More

We got there about 10:00am in the morning and there was no one there. I mean no one. There was one man about 100 yards away but he left soon after we got there. We put our beach chairs out and dove in the water. The water is so clear. We saw fish, turtles and spinner dolphins. The sand is... More

We saw a lot snorkeling, including a murray eal. It was quiet, good shower and toilets, everything you need

This is such a beautiful bay. We walked there from the harbor. Saw people camping. Walked out on the point and saw families in the tidal pools. Restrooms. Beautiful Marine Reserve. No waves the day we went but some days there are.

With the temporary closure of Manele Bay Resort, very few visitors were on the island. We showed up at 4:30 pm and saw 2 cars in the parking lot. We walked on the soft sand, surprised that there were only 6 people on the beach including ourselves. The steps to the tidal pool area looked a bit rickety, probably because... More

The beach is conveniently located adjacent to the marina in which the ferry/boats dock. My friend & I spent the remainder of our day trip lounging on the beach. We met a few locals and one specifically told us about some tide pools east of the beach. You walk up a dirt road past the parked cars. You'll hit a... More

We tried to cram so much into our one day on Lanai that I know we short changed this little jewel. If we ever go back to Lanai it will be for the express purpose of spending the day enjoying this beautiful spot.
