We took the ferry over and didn't get to the beach until early afternoon. Walking through the Four Seasons will knock your socks off but once you get to the beach, you'll be able to enjoy the shoreline irregardless of your income level! You must walk all the way to the end of the beach to the point that they... More

This is a very nice beach to visit while on Lanai as it is very easy to get to and is right by the resorts. There are also camping areas at this beach that look cozy.

We took the Expedition Ferry over- takes approx 45 minutes. I am so glad we did this! The water was fabulous! There are trees for shade, picnic tables, fresh running water and restrooms. The Four Seasons is a short walk away and you can sit there and enjoy cocktails and lunch or get the lunch to go and take it... More

Sailed to Hulopoe beach from Maui for snorkeling trip. Visibility was OK, not as good as many snorkeling areas on Maui. Reef OK but nothing special. Nice beach to sit and relax but not worth the time and cost to go all the way to Lanai. Many beaches on Maui are much nicer (Makena Beach Park) and easier to get... More

The beach was nice and sandy. Very picturesque. Snorkeling around the rocky area on the left side of the beach was particularly good. Large fish and LOTS of them! Some of the most exciting snorkeling in Hawaii. Fairly quiet beach and easily accessible.

This is a beautiful beach! Bathrooms, showers, picnic tables, shade trees, grills and walking distance from the ferry! You can snorkel here, but the current is strong so buddy up! There are interesting tidal pools to the left of the beach, so make sure to walk over and check them out. Also make sure to hike up to Sweetheart Rock,... More

Spent our day going off road and falling in love with this island. Stopped here for some beach and snorkel time. Great snorkeling off to the sides, Nice set up with tables, showers and bathrooms. The sand was Soooo hot!! So bring water shoes or be prepared to run to the cool water soaked sand!

Hawaii has many world-class snorkeling sites but few as accessible from a beach as Hulopoe Beach in Lani. The waters are full of so many species of fish that it's intoxicating, in a good way. The parrot fish are gigantic as this is protected park. The beach itself is even nice. Important: Bear in mind that Lanai is a private... More

We took a day trip to Lanai from Lahaina and toured the island. At the end of the day we were at Hulopoe Beach. The snorkeling was fantastic. Many underwater formations for the fish to thrive. Excellent bathroom and shower facilities. This beach is within walking distance 0.2 miles of the ferry terminal. Many picnic tables for sitting and reading... More

The Beach is located at the Four Seasons Manele Bay. You can access the beach by walking from the harbor. Beach has facilities and easy access and parking. The snorkeling along the left side is awesome. Go as far as possible out near the point. Watch for turtles in the deeper water.
