Hiked the first two miles to Hanakapi'ai then back with wife and 4 kids (20,17, 12, and 10). Went at a leisurely pace and it took about 3 hours, but everyone else seemed to be rushing past us. A lot of climbs and descents and several rocky parts make this a pretty strenuous hike. Saw a few strange sights -... More

Went with Napali Cataraman , Hanalei. This was a 4 hour tour around the coast . Although a little choppy the two young captains really looked after all of us. Plenty of local knowledge with funny remarks! Scenery is spectular, caves ,small waterfalls & snorkelling all inclusive ! Plenty of water & soft drinks . Snorkelling all supplied . Well... More

If you like smaller groups on a smaller boat that includes snorkeling and can handle an adventuresome ride, we recommend Captain Na Pali! He has great rates and gives a great tour!the coast... More

We took a professional excursion to see the Na Pali coast. It was a beautiful day. The cliffs were remarkable. We have seen them by air and now we have seen them by sea. Glad we made the effort

The Na Pali Coast is is one of the best things to do in Hawaii, maybe the world. You can only see it from the air, or by sea. Most of the day sea cruises start from Port Allen but there is usually a summer boat from Hanalei Bay. Daily helicopter rides go from Lihue or Princeville airports.

My wife and I highly recommend this place. It is serene and beautiful. The best time to go is in January when the whales are passing through. We only got to hike as far as the hidden beach, but if we go back, we will take the two day hike to the waterfall. Please be mindful of the people meditating... More

We had taken a helicopter tour on a previous trip to Kauai and wanted to also see Na Pali from the sea for a more well-rounded perspective. We highly recommend doing both. We took a Zodiak tour and believe this is the best way to see it from the sea, but only if you're up for the physical demands and... More

Paddling the Na Pali coast to Kauai's Garden of Eden may save time, feet and back, but experiencing the ancient Hawaiian 11 mile sea-cliff trail to Kalalau is the most fulfilling. Some part dangerous but every corner of this arduous trek reveals a new breathtaking vista that serves only to lighten that heavy pack.

We hiked 4 miles in to a beautiful waterfall. My 2 year old loved the ride but also got out of her pack to do some hiking along the way. The first 2 miles take you to a beach with a shallow cave. The next 2 treacherous muddy miles take you to the waterfall. I won't lie, it is strenuous... More

This is one of the main sights you have to see on the island. It is great by land sea or air. You will never see anything like it anywhere in the world.
