AUGUST 21, 2009 This is a great little beach for snorkeling and absolutely breathtaking scenery. The snorkeling/swimming area is very sandy. This beach has lifeguards and clean facilities. Arrive early for best parking and snorkeling conditions. This is a small beach and gets busy early. Bring a piece of white bread in a baggie to feed the fish. They will... more

This is a beautiful beach, and we saw a Hawaiian Monk Seal.. so enough said, right! (of course, the camera was dead that trip...) I mean, yes, it's along drive, and yes, the parking sucks, but it is SOOO worth the trouble. I loved every minute we were there. The snorkeling was magnificent, but you may have to work it... more

We found Ke'e to be a very nice beach - very beautiful and great swimming and snorkeling. There is a shorebreak, so the water is generally calm. Do NOT go out beyond the breaker or the danger signs. Apparently there is a dangerous pull out there, but as long as you use common sense, you should be fine. We got... more

Let me start off my saying this beach is undeniably beautiful. Crystal clear water, and a shoreline that backs up onto the beautiful cliffs of the Na Pali coast. However....all the guidebooks say this is THE place for snorkeling...and it just didn't happen for us. We saw a couple of fish, and that's it. Maybe we got our hopes up... more

We went to Ke'e at sunset, so missed the big crowds and parking was not a problem. Beautiful, peaceful view of the Napali Coast. Make sure to wear shoes walking on the coral. more

Ke'e is one of my favorite beaches in Hawaii. Parking sucks but the headache is worth it. We like to walk quite a ways down the beach, away from the crowd, to enjoy the magnificent view of the Na Pali coast. If the North Shore is pounding, Ke'e is a great place to swim since there is a small protected... more

Parking can be a bear, so get there early. Great for snorkeling. Restrooms under construction, porta potties on site. more

As the farthest point on the North Shore, Ke'e Beach is spectacular. Everybody knows it, so the parking situation is tough and there are lots of people there. But there's still plenty of room to spread out and park yourself on the sand if you wish. We spent two afternoons here -- one just enjoying the views and people-watching, and... more

Visited this beach in July 2006. It is at the very end of the highway after many one-lane bridges and some slow driving. Only facility is a restroom that had been vandalized. Parking is limited and spots are in high demand. The beach is very nice as is the water and there are some shady areas where you can get... more

OK, I have to disagree with previous postings. Although it is a beautiful beach it was very crowded. We went to this beach twice during our stay. The parking area was overcrowded with cars and smelled like urine. We found the beach to be dirty and crowded compared to some of the other beaches we visited on Kauai. There were... more
