My family and I had a great ride today. The 2.5 hour ride was just right. The scenery was spectacular, the horses gentle and well behaved and the weather was perfect. The guides Mahina and Roy are the best and are what made this a 5 star experience. They're both a lot of fun and shared lots of history and... More

Nice quite ride through the eucalyptus tree rainforest and listening to the tails of the region on how it transformed from a viable sugarcane region in to a useless eucalyptus tree rainforest in hopes of establishing a paper mill. Now there are those evasive trees whose only purpose now is to prevent massive erosion. I rated this low because of... More

Not having pre-booked, we arrived in Waipio hoping to get on a horse ride and were lucky enough to be the only family on our tour. We did the shorter 2 hour trip, a ride along the top rim with some amazing views! Took a few stops along the way for photos. Our guide Roy was great. Provided us with... More

This was an amazing and excellent trip! Our family (all avid horse riders) did the 2.5 hour trip, which was plenty for the family and left the afternoon open for exploring the coastline. I can't imagine that the five hour wouldn't be completely worth the journey, though. Our guides were wonderful characters, very knowledgeable and fun to talk to, but... More

Our family of 6, 3 generations, stopped for horseback riding as we drove from Kona to Hilo. It broke the drive up and gave us great views of the valley. The horses were beautiful, well cared for and gentle. I also noticed how neat and clean the tack room was. These people do a wonderful job with riders of all... More

I might be biased because I got engaged during the 5 hour ride (at the waterfall) but we absolutely loved our tour. Chauncy was our guide and he was funny and very informative. The company has been around for a long time and he knew the trails like the back of his hand. We stopped along the way at scenic... More

I realize you can't control the weather, but even in good weather this ride was 5 hrs. of boredom. You rode up a mountain trail to a ridge to view the water falls and ocean. We saw neither, due to heavy fog. Stopped at a small waterfall, where you could go swimming in 54' water if you want. Had lunch,... More

Perfect for first time riders or people uncomfortable on horseback this mellow ride offers a beautiful piece of the Hawaiian country side. Experienced riders be warned this is a beginner ride. But the knowledgeable guides and well behaved horses made it extremely fun for everyone in our party. Will be booking again!

After researching trip advisor and checking out websites we decided on this company. So glad we did, we booked the 2 and half hour horseback ride in the morning. We had excellent guides and a wonderful time with beautiful waterfalls and great scenery. The horses were calm and very well behaived. I was so glad we went with this company... More

Had a very enjoyable family ride and the guides where fantastic. The view of valley from the top was breath taking. We took the waterfall ride which was worth the extra. The swim in the pond beneath the waterfall was something the kids wont forget and I can take off the bucket list. The water was COLD. Take your aqua... More
