More interpretive material would be nice. The building itself is the main attraction.

According to the reviews on tripadvisor, it is only open on Saturdays. So I went on a Saturday, CLOSED. I guess no one wants us to visit!

I have been to this house many times and always learn something new about life in the 1700s. Sometimes there are colonial period reanactors in the yard demonstrating cooking, candlemaking, etc. I go home feeling blessed I have indoor plumbing, A/C, and a diswasher. This is a must see.

If you are from Area it's just a great place to take Guest to visit. And Augusta is also the Home of The Master's Golf Tournament. And Great Shopping there as well and you are within 3 hrs of any SC Beach and Ga Beaches as well. South Carolina and Georgia have a lot of History. Even in the Small... More

Only open on Saturdays. Great to see a building built in 1797 but Ezekiel Harris was not a famous person of the time nor did he do anything amazing that they know about other then he served in the militia.

I love historic homes, but every time we tried to visit it was closed (including normal business hours). We could never seem to get there when someone was in office.

What a great tour! We had never heard of Ezekial Harris before we took the house tour. The guide not only was informative about the house, he also took time to tell us about some little known historical places in Augusta that we would never have found without his help.

The Ezekiel Harris House faces Broad Street but is easily accessible from the Eve Street/Crawford Avenue exit on the Calhoun Expressway (which becomes Washington Road as you drive north toward I-20). Ample parking is provided in a free lot adjacent to the house. The entrance to the parking lot is on Welsh Lane, which runs parallel to Broad between Eve... More
