The Gertrude Herbert, housed in the historic, federal style Ware's Folly (c.1818) is so many things. It's a non-profit art school and gallery with outreach programs to the under-privileged and under-served. All of their revolving exhibits are not to my taste, although there's always something that intrigues me. Of course, it's worth a visit just to tour the magnificent house.... More

What is art anymore. What people call art today is simply someone welding scrap iron together in no real shape or form. They stand it up, tack weld it, coat it, and call it art... Really?
