This is a nice and peaceful to see and enjoy. They have a seasonal cafe and plenty of parking. It is a free admission but they do ask for donations. There is also a gift shop featuring a lot of local artist and crafters.

Well maintained, nice layout, walkable. Not wheelchair accessible everywhere. Could be too tight with large crowds.

What a beautiful spot to visit. You could spend all day there and not see enough. Plants of all kinds, and hiking for all to enjoy!

Well labeled gardens and long, windy, secluded and not too short/not too long walking trails make this place a great retreat from the hot Athens summer. Bring a water bottle and decent hiking shoes.

And it just so happens that I was married there 21 years ago. Manicured lawns, beautiful trees, Smiling Birds, Content Butterflies, etc. Ultimate beauty for no cost to visit. We even went back there again for our 20th Anniversary Photo Session. Why change now. It is just as wonderful.

My daughters wedding was at The Day Chapel which is breathtaking ! Lots of windows and natural wood. We also had the reception at the garden club of Georgia terrace room. Large ballroom with brick terrace overlooking the gardens. The staff is very helpful and easy to work with

Loved the variety of plants and trees, something always blooming and growing, local patch of veggies that Georgia is noted for, Rose garden is heaven on earth, friendly folks working to ask questions. Just a nice walk for exercise or seeing native plants.

This is a large garden with a nice greenhouse, even a coffee shop. We were impressed with the variety and scope. There is no fee except a donation container. The pathways are ordered so one can walk a short distance or take the long way. The staff was very knowledgeable. Even a great gift shop.

Nicely kept, nicely laid out, beautiful plants! I just wandered in to town, knowing that Athens had a great reputation as a place to visit and this trip to the gardens paid off. It is a really nice (and free) way to spend a couple of hours.
