A stunning home, moved back to Athens near where it originally sat. The home has some great artifacts and a friendly staff. They are still in the process of developing the visitor experience here, but it is already a great asset to what Athens has to offer. The Cobb family is very important in GA and Civil War history.

The "big pink house" on Hill St. was moved from Prince Ave to Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta. It sat there for over 10 years and nothing was really done to rehab it. Went to this house because of the history and architecture. Found way more than I was looking for. If my husband is correct its actually the T.R.R. Cobb house. Our visit was great. My husband had wanted to go for a long time. Kids thought it was boring but we expected that. Cobb was a great man.
