Good place to go

Great place to go with friends, when you want to do a bit more than just watch a movie. It's quite and welcoming

My oh my! As soon as I walked in, I was hooked. The ambiance wrapped itself around me! There is groovy banquette seating, candles, a bar and the nicest people to serve you. It didn't hurt that the movie starred Robert Redford. I will be going back time and time again!!

Cine is what every town that supports arts needs; they play the old genre and if you want to see Casablanca on large screen but give you the feeling of home, this is it. It is a bit expensive than regular theater but worth it as these movies are not shown everywhere. Parking will cost you so add an extra... More

Good place that is more relaxed than normal theaters. However, seats sit straight ip, no cup holders and you are given actual glass for drinks (soda or beer). The floors are cement. No actual parking for Cine. It is downtown so you have to find a meter or pay for parking across the street. Most films are independent which is... More

We have been here several times. With children at UGA, great place to see movies that are sometimes overlooked. Best popcorn in brown bags!! Alcohol served all but Sunday.

We saw "In my dreams" at 5:30 pm. The theater has light beverages, alcohol and non-alcoholic, food and snack items and popcorn. Ice water is available before entering. The theater runs really good movies that appeal to baby boomers best, I think. This theater has community support.

Cine is a great spot to catch an arthouse. Tickets are affordable, and so are the food, beer, and coffee available at the bar. With a more sophisticated audience than you get at most multiplexes, this is a great theatre date night.

Doesn't get much better that this for a great night out in Athens. OK, it's a bit quirky; but, hey drink prices are good, popcorn is great, and the film fare is always interesting. Cine is also a great place for lectures and other special events.

Love visiting Cine for the art and films. Always something new and interesting... Plus it's a bar! If there is a late/midnight show it is often cool (but not always for everyone's taste with the late shows but I usually like them!)
