After not visiting the Georgia Museum of Art for 20 years, I was unprepared for the new building and new exhibit space off of East Campus. The permanent collection is a wonderful mix of paintings from a wide variety of periods. The exhibit space is fantastic. I was lucky enough to visit the special exhibit, Fashion Independent: the original style... More

I enjoyed this museum and the exhibits that were on display. It was a little difficult to navigate parking in the campus traffic but once inside I have no complaints.

Tried to visit on a Sunday and a Monday during Feb but completely closed and no sign on the entrance door to explain hours. Tried to find someone to help - stopped two people going into School of Art but they did not know.

For little to no cost (donation appreciated) this is a great art museum for such a small city. We have gone to many special events and appreciated Dr. and Mrs. Odum's donations that helped make this a better museum. I need to get there again this year for their special shows.

I'm not an art person, but I had a class that visited this place. It's brand new and amazing inside and out. If you like art, then you'll love this place!

The exhibits are wonderful and the renovation of the museum is amazing! It's worth a trip just to see the building.

I loved the opportunity to go to this beautiful museum. What a collection! And most of the staff was the sweetest. But there are a couple of "docents" that were downright rude. I don't know if standing in a super-quiet room all day is getting on their nerves, or trying to keep exuberant students (which I am not) away from... More

We went on a Sunday afternoon. It is not only hard to locate the parking area but hard to find the entrance to the building once you park. The museum is located on a one way loop and parking is off to the side and behind the building, after you drive all the way around the loop. Exhibits were okay... More
