A group of us stayed on Little Cay next to Utila for a week. 4 people needed to complete their open water dives to become certified while the others just did free dives. Sarah was our instructor and could have not made us all fee more comfortable in the water. She was able to point out many creatures only a... More

Well just to say that in December 2014 I became part of the BICD IDC and it was one of my best choices ever... To start I get very lucky with the grup and even better was the way that the course director Nick manage all of us with different nationalities and knowledge levels to a great final success. Is... I did my IDC with BICD in February 2015. Nick is an excellent instructor and the facilities are first rate. Definitely recommend this place for anyone considering doing IDC.

Awesome instructors, all the dive masters (and other staff) were really friendly and skilled, great equipment (by the sounds of comments from people with other dive shops, the gear we used was in better condition) and from what I saw one of the best dive boats. Kelsea my instructor for both courses was brilliant. Would recommend this shop to anyone... More

I was a bit apprehensive because of my age (nearly 72) about going for the certification, but PADI made it fun and possible. The instructors-- Kelsey, Bec and James-- were thorough, most helpful and very encouraging. Don't miss the opportunity when in Utila to get this certification from PADI.

We did our advanced diver course there. Our instructor John was great. Not sure about some of the others. Carol is also nice. The courses are held well. Some of the equipment is relatively new but some seemingly old as well. Functional though. The accommodation is on the basic side but very roomy. Kitchens are a bit under equipped. The... More

The whole experience with BICD was terrific from start to finish. They sent a rick-shaw to grab me from the airport ($2 from plane to BICD door). I was warmly welcomed by John and Donna who explained everything (scuba course, accommodations and prices). The dorms were inexpensive and easy to meet fun people from everywhere. Did my open-water with Kelsey... More

Great place to learn to dive!! My friend and I both did our open water course there. He found it so enjoyable that he continued on with his advanced; I left for trip time reasons. The instructors are professional and fun-loving which makes the learning experience very enjoyable. It also creates a good atmosphere around the school. This atmosphere and... More

This place is truly amazing! The staff and the instructors make you feel like part of the family instantly. The dorms are big and tidy with good beds. They take diving seriously so if you want to do fundives or certificates you should definately go here. Equipment and diveboats are awesome and they take you to the best divesites around... More
