Was really hard to find a guide for Utila flats. Luck connected me with Notman. We took a small boat thru the mangrove and the flat was lit with bones. They rejected everything in my box but a brown unweighted from Norman had 'em eating the fly. Big permit tailed up as well but did not eat. Notman can see... More

The one day we booked “the best flats guide on the island”, Norman from Pigeon Cay, for the flats fishing, he sent his cousin in a small panga. Apparently Norman was unavailable, so what do you do? I went to Utila early February. Norman has an eye for Bone fish like no other. It was amazing how he would spot schools on the flats. He will definately put you on the bone fish.... up to you to catch. The bones spook easy and can be difficult at times. He is a great guide even for those not... More

i have used norman jacksons fishing and guide services many times and highly recommend him. norman can take you deep sea fishing (wahoo, snapper, grouper etc.) or flats fishing (catch and release bonefish, tarpon etc.) and his knowledge of the utila waters is second to none. i have also hired norman and his boat "seahunt" for diving and underwater filming...
