Of course, no one can dive with all operators on Utila to properly compare. But Captain Morgan's go almost every day to the north side (higher chance for whale-sharks, better, more topographically interesting dive-sites), have an incredibly knowledgeable Captain and great fun dive masters. What more to ask for? I've done 20 fun dives with them and would choose them... More

My wife and I dove with Captain Morgans 1 1/2 years ago back when they used to operate out of the Cays. We loved Captain Morgans back then, now we are amazed how quickly a dive shop can change. I only did one dive with them, it was so bad my wife and I just sat on the boat for... More

We dove with Captain Morgan's a year and a half ago and had an excellent experience (see my previous review from then). A LOT has changed, and not for the better. It was the last day of the trip. We'd been diving on the Cays (with Utila Cays Diving, who are EXCELLENT) all week, and were back in town just... More

I'm VERY sorry for you and your spouse's recent negative experience diving with us and I was unaware you were charged full price after your dive. We had few instances lately where divers wanted to stretch out a 10 dive package to 10 boat trips diving only once per trip rather than the customary 2 dives per trip so we... More

This dive center is not like other dive centers I've been diving with recently, where the dive masters put together your gear, dress you up and practically throw you into the water. You need to pick out all of the equioment and gear up on your own. At least I had one of Captain Morgan's dive masters basically hold my... More

Stopped in here on a whim for a few things - nice people, lots of dive shirts, stickers, stuff to bring home. Parlez-vous français? Speak it here!

We enjoyed our stay in Feb 2013 at Captain Morgans. We were met at the ferry as promised and our bags taken to our hotel. We walked 5 mins to the hotel and got ourselves all settled in to our room. The room was large, clean and was what we had expected it to be. The room was cleaned daily... More

I didn't use the the dive center as a dive center in particular, but went in for some dive supplies and t-shirts. The salesgirl was helpful and honest (didn't want to sell a shirt that had a lower quality picture) and she directed me to another place that might have had the supplies I was looking for.

Captain Morgan's Dive Centre is one of the best dive centres I've been diving with (after diving in Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Belize and Switzerland). The divemasters and instructors are excellent - they are friendly, take it easy and are concerned about safety (includes good dive briefing before the dive). I did both fun dives and a Rescue Diver... More

I had the best time! Made you feel relaxed and safe throughout whole process. Seth was our instructor and he was awesome, extremely knowledgeable and helpful, pointing out different sea creatures and corals. I did my open water certification with them. We stayed at the Pirates Bay Inn which were quite hot but they gave us extra fans to keep... More

Freddy, who runs the diving side of the business, is great. His team of dive masters and instructors is very friendly, patient, thorough, funny, and most importantly concerned about safety. Additionally, Freddy is very flexible. I had only 3 days to do my adv. open water cert. Course was starting in a few days. Because I wanted to start it... More
