Exhausted and sea sick from the boat, it was so easy to accept the friendly offer of a scuba-accommodation deal from Captain Morgan's luckily turned out to be an excellent decision! Very good value, very facilitating instructors, superb setting with a beach, kayaks, all the equipment included for scuba. They gave us a good deal because we arrived in a... More

Best thing about Captain Morgan is that everybody working here are very happy, it is easy to understand though, because it is an awesome place to be - we planned to stay there for 5 days, which became 9, then 11. We dove 22 times and did our rescue diver here. The three instructors working here are brilliant, the divemasters... More

I pent lot of time 'helping' (chilling out) in the shop, The people who work there are very helpful and friendly and love the Island... They will make you love it too! They have an amazing hotel from which you leave to do the dives at their dock. Loved it! Thank you David especially for all your help :)

This is a fun, friendly place, and the staff that works there are friendly and professional. It's more of a budget travel place, so you set up and move your own gear, which is fine. However, the gear is not being maintained adequately, and because of that, I just can't in good conscience recommend this as a dive center. Almost... More

I needed a valve for my respirator setup, I didn't think I was going to be able to find a replacement. They employ students and dive masters from around the globe so there is a lot of know how here. Surprisingly they had the part I needed, and installed it for free. The dive master who runs the shop had... More

My girlfriend and I came to Captain Morgans to do the open water courses. My girlfriend also went on to do the advanced, she loved it so much! It was everything we could hope for! We were told by other people we met traveling how great it was, and Captain Morgans def. Lived up to the reputation. The staff are... More

After spending a week with another dive centre on Utila my friend and I were beginning to question our trip all the way out there. Being already qualified divers we were looking for a shop that cared not just for its course divers but was also interested in where they went to dive. Captain Morgan's offered this and so much... The staff at Captain Morgan made my experience exceptional. The girls in the kitchen always cooked up a delicious storm and put a smile on your face. David at the front always was there to answer any questions no matter how busy he was. Divemaster Kate did my tune up as it was more than a year since I dove.... More

I spent several days on Utila looking for the right dive shop to complete a divemaster. After choosing Captain Morgan's I dove with them almost every day for five weeks and it was one of the highlights of my travels. The shop sits on a little beach where the girls working the beach bar serve up some of the best... More

I have just completed my PADI open water course and I had the best time. Before coming to Utila I had never thought about scuba diving but my friend talked me into it and i'm so glad I done it. We had an instructor named Sascha who was brilliant. I always felt like I was in good hands and he... More
