We took the recommendation of tripadvisor and book our own excursion (outside the cruise line) to Little French Key. This was the best experience of our 7 day cruise. The island has a private, non commercial feel. The blue-green water and snorkeling was the best I've ever experienced. The food and service on the island was exceptional. We truly didn't... More

Little French Key is a beautiful island with a wonderful owner. When I first came to the island after about a 30 minute shuttle it was beautiful. All the rescued animals and plus the atmosphere made for an environment that you never wanted to leave! There are tons of activities for both children and adults to enjoy. The people who... More

This is a pretty little island. There mini zoo was surprisingly varied. The snorkeling wasn't great but there were lots of star fish and water sports to try.

This place is like stepping into a postcard! I didn't want to leave! The water is beautiful, the views are breathtaking! Our kids had tons of activities to keep them occupied... And out of our hair!😃 there are kayaks, paddle boards, a rope swing, and the most clear blue water to swim in I have ever seen! I would love... More

We were staying at the Clarion Suites which provided us free access to the island. We enjoyed moving around enjoying the different beaches, chairs and places to sun bathe and swim. It is very well kept and clean and so so beautiful! The little zoo right as you come off the boat is nice with a variety of animals and... More

I loved how beautiful the beach was here! The island was fairly quiet when I was there. The food was pretty good. When you pay for the package to go, most include a meal and drinks. The meal was a mixed plate of seafood, chicken, beef, rice and beans, and yuca. All the meat was good except for the beef.... More

Great beach, bar and atmosphere. Has its own private zoo, which I am not keen on, especially the jaguar which really doesn't belong although I do appreciate that they rescued it from way worse conditions, but I just don't like zoos!

We went here on our Royal Caribbean cruise but this was not an excursion offered through the cruise line. We decided to do this on our own because we read great reviews on this place. At the cruise port we stepped outside the gate looking to see how we get to this place. We found this one guy who said... More

We went over to Little a French Key after reading so many good reviews. It's a quick ferry ride over to a beautiful little island. I think it would be a great place to take kids as it is set up like a zoo with all the monkeys, exotic birds, jaguar, and lion in cages. The meal with the ticket... More

This little privately owned eco driven island is a step into paradise from it's manicured beaches and protected cove to it's nature friendly buildings and huts. From it's assorted animals, including a jungle cat, monkeys and birds to it's friendly staff and excellent lunches, well equipped bar and friendly staff, this little paradise reeks of relaxation.
