Cute island, with beach and restaurants, nice to spend a day at the beach. Is just an average place, nothing to die for, but still a nice place.

It rained the day we were there so didn't get the passes from the port to go on the "Magical Flying Beach Chair" which basically was a chair lift to the beach. We decided to walk the path to take a look at the beach and it was a nice walk even in light rain. We noticed a lot of... More

My husband and I do not always get off of a ship but so glad we did here. This is a beautiful island with a number of activities. The lift is not something you think of seeing at an island but rather a ski resort. We visited all the shops and went for a walk thru a path to the... More

From our Princess cruise, we purchased an excursion which included a chair lift ride to the beach, a clam shell shelter, snorkel gear and kayak rental. While the beach was busy thanks to there being 2 ships in port, there was enough room for people to move around. The water was amazing and extremely salty, so much so that you... More

A fabulous stop on our Princess Cruise. We booked the package that included chair lift- clam shell & snorkel gear. The beach is within walking distance but we really enjoyed the chair lift ride. Also there are free sunbeds there. Really enjoyed the cocktails from Fat Tuesday. A great stop off for a cruise, the water is so warm &... More

We went on a cruise through Royal Caribbean with my family and my husband's family this year. We did not know what to expect from Honduras. Mahogany Beach was gorgeous though! The whole island of Roatan was amazing. It was our favorite part of the trip!

Crystal clear waters that become strikingly deep quickly, so you can simply walk to shore from mooring. It's quite remarkable. You follow a short trail, obviously passing through the duty-free shop as you go. (it's pretty much all the same stuff as each stop for the most part). The walk is through the tree lined corridor to the beach and... More

We love this destination, came here the beginning of October on a carnival cruise. This was our second time here, we just booked another cruise here for spring break! It is absolutely beautiful. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the water is a bit broken up, it gets deep fast but then there is... More
