Roatan Shark Dive is a must. We been on the shark dive twice, and will do it again on our next trip. Great staff, and great experience. Something you must do while diving in Roatan.

I read through many of these reviews and I'm not sure I can understand why we've got such a huge difference of opinion. I absolutely though this was an awesome add on to my week of diving at Roatan. I waited until our last day of diving to do this trip because I figured I would either end it on... More

I was very frustrated with all the negative reviews which almost caused me to not do this dive. After my great experience, I have dedicated this review to debunking some of their foolish claims against a great dive company. First off, if you are a decent diver (which most of the negative comments are from uptight, newer divers) you will... More

where to start ... these people are simply horrible in every way ....first they have no water , shade, rinse soap or other useful things on the (canoe) they call a boat . ok now they have that NO GOPRO policy because they would attract the sharks to close to the divers because of the magical sensor they have !... Just got back from a trip to Roatan. While I enjoyed the dive be aware that this shop has a no "Go-Pro camera policy which they state is for safety. Now while I can see where they may not want people sticking them out on poles etc, holding it as a camera would normally be held should not be an... More

We were warned by our Roatan dive shop that this experience was 'rustic'. It was-- but we knew what we were getting in to. You get into your gear at the dock and they help you get into the dive boat. There were 14 of us and we were pretty crammed into the boat. No room to really move around... More

The dive itself is good. It was arough ride out to the dive spot. The sharks are obviously conditioned to come for the food. You spend 15 minutes watching them circle around. It's great for the first 5 minutes then it gets boring. After they feed the fish, they let you come out from the wall and look for teeth... More

The Waihuka dive center is the only operation that runs this Shark trip. The owners spent three years diving the site to 'prepare' it for the shark experience. It's more like a show -- you drop down 70 feet and then either kneel or stand in the sand and watch all of these large female caribbean reef sharks come in... More

The tanks leaked and there were no safety checks of any kind. The captain yelled at everyone on the boat who asked questions and was cruel to one diver who expressed some uncertainty about the dive ("get in or sit here and wait"). He did nothing to help the diver who lost her weight belt due to the rough waters... More

Our group had a great Black-Yip shark dive. We watched 15-17 Large reef sharks feed on dead fish while sitting on the bottom 10' away. Some of the lasger females were 10-12' in length. This is one Roatan attraction well worth the $$$. Highly reccommended. A+++ Cannot take a GoPro camera was the only negative..I guess they want to sell... More
