The beach area was beautiful. The water was gorgeous. Snorkeling was awesome. And this is a wildlife rehabilitation area so you get to see cheetahs, Tigers, parrots, sea lions and more but most impressive is you get to hold and feed the small monkeys . My 2 teenagers said that made the trip for them. The food was good too.

We went here for the day from our cruise ship. This place is beautiful. The people working here are friendly and helpful and the food was great. Here you really do feel as though you have your own private beach. The snorkeling was fantastic....better than the Caymans or Cozumel... I would very much like to return here.

My husband and I really enjoyed this visit. While we enjoyed the other stops on our cruise, this was by far our favorite. It was a stop where no one was hurrying us along, or we were worried about getting to the next place. It was truly a relaxing stop. We loved seeing the animals, the meal was nice, the... More

My visit to Maya Key this week was great! Nice, relaxing, and informative. No rush to do or see anything. The lunch and service were top notch. Great seafood on the day I visited. And those boys making drinks aren't bashful. You get your monies worth. While you're there say hello to Cindy. She's great!

We visited Maya Key on an all day all-inclusive cruise excursion. This was one of our families' favourite islands! Snorkelling off the pier is incredible, lots to see and the water is crystal clear. Buffet lunch is offered, the fish was great. We swam at the beach. There is a pool near the lunch area but we didn't use it.... More

I don't think I was prepared for the encounters we had while at Maya Key. We did the tour of the animals and it was so cool. My son loved the parrots but the monkeys were his favorite. We even had the opportunity to do an encounter with them! Stinky and Cocoa were a huge hit! The beach is great,... More

This was one great cruise excursion! The island is an animal sanctuary with interactive things to do. There is a great pool and wonderful beach with beautiful views. There is a long pier with easy access to a wonderful place to snorkel at the reef. The lunch served was authentic island food, very delicious and the beverages were cold. I... More

We booked this through Roatan Vacation Rentals. We took a boat over. The beach is lovely and there is a very nice long dock on which you can snorkel off the end of. The price for the day $30 per person included lunch and a tour of the rescued animals and fake Mayan Ruins. We were there on a Monday... More

Maya Key is a private island with beaches, water activities, and a sanctuary of rescued animals. The island is a great place to spend the day, guests are able to take part in whatever activities appeal to them (some have fees). The beaches are very clean, and there are also tree shaded areas adjacent to the beach. There is a... More

My husband and I loved this cruise tour! The island is beautiful, clean, and the people were very friendly. There were plenty of beach lounge chairs for everyone. Snorkeling was at the end of a long dock with a young man helping people. Not for beginners as you need to follow an underwater trail to get to the reef. (There... More
