My wife, Son and a friend visited the gardens after having a great meal in the restaurant. It can take as long as one wishes to move through these attractive gardens . We were renting a condo in the towers next door . The Hotel and gardens are a little distance out of "Pana" on the way up the hill... More

The gardens offer a wide variety of flora, exotic birds, arches, pools, and of course, Lake Atitlan -- all spots for rest and relaxation. The swimming pool and hot tub as perched on the edge of the lake.

The entrance fee seemed a little high at first, but after an hour of strolling these beautiful gardens, it was more than worth it.

We stayed in the hotel itself for two nights and just loved the gardens - beautifully landscaped, many exotic species and then there are the gorgeous macaws and toucans! Definitely worth an hour's stroll even if you are not staying at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel and gardens, with spectacular views of the volcanoes across the lake. The food is good and the bar is nice. The grounds are impeccably kept and there are picture opportunities where ever you turn. Sip your cocktail while soaking in the pool.

Very extensive gardens are located around the hotel which seem to go on forever. The plantings are very well maintained and designed. The views are just lovely of the lake and you can tell a lot of effort goes into to keeping these gardens beautiful. We did not stay at the hotel, but had lunch there and visited the gardens... Was part of a Caravan tour. Top shelf. On the lake. Extensive gardens plus resident parrots, peafowl, ducks, rabbits, etc. You can even arrive and depart via 2 onsite helipads ( if you're well heeled, I imagine ). Excellent dining, and lots of objet d'art in corridors and unique rooms. ( Seen the film "Enchanted April"? ten fold better ).
