I've been actively diving for 30 years and ReefCI is by far the best! Polly and her team adhere to strict safety standards at the same time as ensuring an enjoyable and educational experience. Located on Tom Owens Caye, the dive sites are all within a 5-10 minute boat ride. Between dives, there are educational sessions with staff and a... More

ReefCI is a dive and fishing reef conservation organisation. We love being on Tom Owen's Caye as it's so relaxed and laidback, and yet we can feel useful helping with reef conservation. Several people have mentioned the lionfish spearing - this is a HUGE problem in the Caribbean. Lionfish are an invasive species, with no predators, voracious feeders, and rapid... More

This was a very unique experience at an incredibly remote location. Stayed here for a week in 2014 with 2 teens. The ride out to the caye was amazing as you are about 90 minutes from the mainland. The island and the facility are beautiful but compact. Our room was very nice and open to the sea. No bugs so... More

We spent 2 amazing weeks diving with Reef CI run by Polly Alford, off the very idylic island `tom owen' caye. we spent our time carring out lobster surveys, coral surveys, fish surveys, conch surveys, to contribute towards the conservation work that they are doing. in addition we were spear fiishing for as many lionfish as possible to do our... It’s a great location on a small caye approximately 38 miles offshore of Southern Belize. Reef CI provided my dive partner and me a unique opportunity to experience a great diving adventure and to expand our marine conservation knowledge base. Our travel plans included time exploring Punta Gorda before and after our five night (Monday – Friday) stay on Tom... More

I just got back to Denver after two weeks on Tom Owen's Caye and I have to say that it was the best vacation of my life. The staff far exceeded my expectations from Polly to the chef to the dive instructors. ReefCI puts a lot of effort into engaging their guests in the conservation effort through reef life education... I spent a week in this little island with reefCI diving, enjoying nature and seeing how this people work with environment and helping the sea in many areas. I could even do some conservation job in the coral reef. And of course I dived a lot and I got my Open Water license. Amazing experience with amazing team of people... More

One of the best diving holidays so far! I spent two weeks on Tom Owen's Caye and wish I have had more time. The staff was always helpful and the food was fantastic (yes, I do love rice and beans!). I learned so much about fish ID, invertebrates, and substrates, which will make future diving adventures even more enjoyable. Tracey,... More

I had a great three weeks with ReefCI. I had no diving experience prior to my trip and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and patient during my open water and advanced open water courses. Simon, the diving instructor, even spent some time with me one-on-one to help me become more comfortable taking my mask off under water and he really... More
