Polly, Tom and Hayley run a great place here, joining fun, conservation and lots of diving in a very friendly environment. Came with my 13-yr old newly qualified son who is really keen about marine conservation - he was fascinated to follow alongside the interns, learning lots about the issues, and passed his advanced diver as well. I worked hard... More

before heading out to the island for my 2 week holiday I completed my padi openwater, however after my visit to the island, I had completed 22 dives with just over 1000 minutes and my advanced padi under my belt. The island is a great place to relax, learn and meet more people who also love marine life and diving.... More

I'm 19 and booked this trip as a halfway house between travelling and going on holiday. It was what i wanted and far far more. I stayed for 3 weeks which was definitely not enough. My highlights were; - The food, whats better than catching the fish that day and then it turning up on your plate in a variety... More

I arrived in Belize for my second trip to ReefCI in April 2015 for six weeks… Little did I know that my six week trip would turn into four months! November 2014 I made my first ever trip to ReefCI where I gained my PADI Open Water and Advanced courses. As this was my first trip away from home by... More

We spent five days with Reef CI at their outpost on Tom Owens Caye in a Sapodilla Cayes Reserve 37 miles east of Punta Gorda. The whole operation was incredibly well run, with outstanding staff. Reef CI works with volunteers to collect reef data - conch and lobster surveys, reef health transects, and lion fish control. I was astonished at... More

Paradise is the word to describe this island. The first experience is on the boat to get to the island. 35 miles offshore, you start to realise how remote it is...perfect. We spent a week on the island, which is tiny, met great people of all ages , from all parts of the world. Rooms and cabanas are comfortable and... More

I recently spent 3 months on Tom Owen's Caye and can't think of one negative thing to say about my experience(s). This was my second time back to the island after completing my Rescue Course back in March of 2014. I loved it so much, that I was counting down the days to the start of trip number two, as... More

After spending 4 weeks at ReefCI learning all about reef conservation and marine biology, I cannot speak highly enough of this program. I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn and give back. Polly's team are very generous in the sharing of their knowledge/skills both about marine conservation and local information. Combine this with fresh tasty food, like minded people and... More

Treat yourself to a well earned break on Tom Owens paradise island. Here you can relax, recuperate and find yourself new friends while diving in exclusive marine reserve. Polly runs a very professional dive centre with well maintained dive equipment. The dive instructors are very competent and knowledgable. The food is excellent and fresh. I would highly recommend enjoying some... More
