ReefCI is an absolutely amazing organization! I would recommend this trip to anyone and everyone! From the incredible staff, to the beautiful dive location, it is impossible not to fall in love with Tom Owens island. Diving 3 times a day and returning to rest in a hammock is the best way to spend a vacation. And don't forget the... More

1. Reservation process and pre-departure communication was excellent. Jo and Polly were so friendly and all questions were answered quickly. 2. Accommodations- teeny tiny island with structures made of coral and underwater murals! One main structure and a bunch of individual Flintstone pods surrounded by hammocks. All charming and funky. Basic boat/RV style bathrooms. 3. Meals- delicious and plentiful! Fresh... More

I went to ReefCI without any diving experience, and to get my certification. My mom and I met some of the most unique people while on the trip, and the most personal and helpful staff I have ever encountered! I got to see multiple eagle rays, fish, and nurse sharks while learning to dive off the dock at Tom Owen's... More

So you want to dive? This is the place to do it, bar none. Diving 3 to 4 times a day. Getting to dive sites takes on average under 10, usually no more than 5 minutes. Pristine dive sites where you and your handful of ReefCI mates are the ONLY ones at the dive site. And, add helping the environment... More

We have just returned from the most fantastic weeks Diving on Tom Owens Caye with Reef CI, it was simply an incredible week! Tom Owens Caye is a tiny little island in the Caribbean Sea, about a 90 minute boat trip from Punta Gouda. I will say to start with that the accommodation here is not luxurious; It is very... More

Nothing but awesome!!!! The staff are so great on and off the island! Very knowledgable, always willing to help with whatever is needed, full of great stories and food so good I gained a few pounds! I really enjoyed the combination of diving, relaxing in a hammock, naps, book reading, great conversations, good food and science. I'm a science teacher... More

Having just spent 4 months with Reef CI I can honestly say that it was a brilliant & life changing experience! The island is fantastic and something you would expect to see in some paradise film. The staff are brilliant with the best dive instructors I've ever dived with. The Reef is incredible with some of the best marine life... More

It is really a unique experience to boat out 40 miles into the Caribbean from (already off the beaten track) southern Belize and spend a 4 nights on tiny Tom Owen's Caye. From the original questions/planning phase through to the emailed orientation packet, communication was quick, informative, and warm. We felt the staff was top notch - Jo in the... More

4 weeks in march 2014 on Tom Owen's Caye with ReefCi - a unforgotteble time. The island is a real castaway-island - but I like it and I miss it and you will do the same. You learn a lot about the reef, the fish and the corals and the connection between all of them and what men can make... More

I've been diving over most of the Caribbean for 7 years now, and I have never been diving with safer, more fun, or more knowledgeable instructors/staff than here on Tom Owen's with Reef CI. I spent 4 weeks with Reef CI during March of 2014, and completed my Rescue Diver course with them. I learned more, and experience more hands-on... More
