I went on a number of tours with TIDE tours while I was in Belize--we went chocolate making (and tasting!) on a small, Mayan family owned shop; took drum lessons with local Garifunas; explored many of the country's pristine waterfalls and rivers. It was truly a spectacular way to experience the country. Our guide, Martin, had so much knowledge and... More

I took part in tours to Rio Blanco waterfall and Blue Creek Caves. The caves had a river and waterfall system running through them and our conversant guide, Martin, helped us to negotiate through then with the help of ropes. It was incredible when we switched our headtorches off deep into the caves, as you're eyes don't adjust- it's true... More

Our wonderful guide Martin took us to Blue Creek Cave which was phenomenal! Swimming through the cave was super cool, and he was very knowledgeable about the history and how to navigate the cave. On a different trip we went to the Rio Blanco waterfalls which is a MUST! Absolutely gorgeous, and we were able to jump off the top... More

Booked two tours with TIDE and our expectations were exceeded both times. Cacao tour with Eladio Pop AND Blue Creek Cave, all in one day, was the most spectactular day, and a must for each visitor to PG! We strolled through a lush, beautiful food forest masquerading as jungle, nibbling here and tasting there, learned about cocoa growing, food and... More

Me, my friends & their 3 kids wanted to visit Blue Creek Cave but were unsure if we were prepared to do it on our own. So we went with Martin on a TIDE Tour and were so glad! Martin shared his vast and interesting knowledge about Maya culture, the plants of Toledo's jungles, and answered many questions about Punta... More

We enjoyed 7 very remarkable days in Punta Gorda and Toledo. We say Mayan ruins, visited villages and participated in arts and crafts, cooking (and eating), chocolate making, kayaking, cave swimming, swimming at waterfalls, snorkeling and beach cookout. Everything greatly exceeded our expectations. Delonie arranged everything and Martin was our very capable and friendly tour guide. Book a complete vacation... More

We are a retired couple who were fortunate enough to discover Tide Tours through word of mouth and had some great experiences under the guidance of Martin and with the helpful and professional coordination of Delonie in their office. On our first day we had a nice tour of the PG area and went kayaking on Joe Taylor Creek, where... More

I was traveling with my husband and our two sons, ages 5 and 7. We arranged our whole trip to Toledo through Delonie; she did a fantastic job planning adventures for our family, arranging for wonderful tour guides, and finding a great hotel for us. Martin was our guide for the majority of our trip and he was wonderful. Thoughtful,... More

My girlfriend and I had a great time in Punta Gorda visiting Blue Creek and Rio Blanco. There was only the two of us and the tour guide, Martin, a friendly and knowledgeable person. It was a great experience. Be prepared to go in the water...and dive into adventures!
