This great little private island was a stopover place for our snorkeling adventure. There were a couple structures, one which housed the kitchen area and an outhouse (working toilet!). There is also a little sandy beach area. Very pretty, it was a great place for lunch and rest.

We went with Mark Leslie cayetours. The only people there were our group of 6 and the caretakers. The water was spectacularly clear, large rays came right up to the shore!,,

My family took the snorkeling trip on one of our first days in Placencia. The overall experience was wonderful as the guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The snorkeling was fantastic, with a full hour in the morning and another half hour or so in the afternoon, each with a little different aspect of the reef. Lunch was great, and the... More

Americans call this pumpkin caye but it's actually pumpion. We went snorkeling here and saw a ton of fish. It was a really nice spot with lots of fish and coral.

Andria from Splash Dive shop was our guide to snorkel around Pompion (Pumpkin) Caye. She was a wonderful guide for first time snorkelers. The wind was against us at one point, and Andria helped pull me around the point to calmer water. She was wonderful, the island was beautiful and we experienced a few hours in paradise. Thanks, Andria!

Near ranguana Caye, sits a tiny lil private Caye with two of the kindest men care taking and hosting the island. We stopped to buy some fish from local fisherman on their boats and stepped on land to find the sweetest men offering us drinks, fish and a seat. Paths are lined with thousands of conch shells! Trees lined the... More

This small island is a very wonderful place to spend either a day or a couple of nights. Pumpkin Caye is a little bigger than most other surrounding islands and has a person living on this island. It is a private island so visiting it may require permission from the caretaker at location. The reef surrounding this island is wonderful... More

Picture perfect. We visited this quaint little Caye on a fun fishing trip. We snorkeled and fished from her shore. Great day!

We were brought out to Pumpkin Caye (a privately owned island) by our Splashdive guides to snorkel with one guide while three guys went out to scuba dive with guides. Clear Caribbean water crashed onto one end of this palm-covered caye which took about 5 minutes to walk around. It's tiny! It was quite windy, so we had to wrestle... More
