Although it fell well below the upscale standard it projects in advertisements (it was on par with tent camping), my wife and I were most disappointed by the treatment we received from the Captain Michelle on his boat and then by Captain Rob when we returned and shared our experiences with him. Michelle smoked around us (we are nonsmokers and... More

Our experience with Belize Sailing Charters was a huge let-down. It is advertised as being a luxurious experience that provides the opportunity to see many islands off the coast of Belize. It only affords you the view of off-shore Placencia, and it does not provide much in the way of comforts as you are expected to sit aboard an anchored... More

Lyra, owner of Taste Belize, took my husband, cousins and I on a wonderful and tasty adventure to Punta Gorta, Belize. We went to Ixcacao and explored the farm to table process of the cacao tree to chocolate. Lyra's delightful passion and extensive knowledge of Belize was engaging and thought provoking. We would highly recommend using Lyra as a tour... More

They arrive 90 minutes late to pick us up. Then after asking why they were late, no call to inform us, they gave some poor excuse like they didn't know how to plan ahead. Sloppy dress and ship wreck appearance of captain and staff was embarrassing to all attendees. Music did not work on the boat. Sailed for approx 45... More

We go to the Placencia peninsula every year , this was our 6th time. For the last 3 years we have taken the day snorkel sail with Captain Rob. Would not miss , the Seeker is a beautiful 3 cabin catamaran . Always a small group, so you feel like it's your vessel. Claudio is the local dive master and... More

I think this company and boat are better suited for either dive or snorkeling excursions. It is a 40' catamaran, but with 15 people on it, it feels very small. Additionally, the sunset excursion is only in the peninsula, near the marina, and it didn't really show much of a view of the coast, etc., and wasn't really what I... More

We appreciate your expert opinion in the charter industry for the usage of our vessel! Our vessel is a 42ft cat, the sunset sailing adventure is schedule for three hours from 3:00pm till sunset. to sail up the coast like you mentioned in you review would take many more hours, so a day sail would have been more suitable for... It was a perfect day. Captain Rob and dive master Claudia took us to Lazy Caye out of Placencia. The Seeker is a 40+ Catamaran that also goes out for several days if you desire. It is a beautiful boat , in great shape, well taken care of. We relaxed on our way out, enjoying the scenery. Claudia had a... More

A group of 4 of us were in town to dive with whale sharks. Decided that we would like to spend a day on the water relaxing and chartered a catamaran for us with Captain Rob and Nichelle. This might have been the highlight of my trip (and we saw the whale sharks!) The Sun Seeker was a beautiful and... More

We just returned from Placencia and one of our best days was the one spent with Captain Rob and Nichelle. They started out as the boat crew and ended the day as our friends. Nichelle made great food and they were both a lot of fun. We "motored" out to a small island and dropped anchor there for a couple... More

My parents, sister and I headed out with Captain Rob and the crew on Christmas Day! The weather was absolutely perfect and we could not have asked for a better experience. The lunch prepared by Pam was great and the rum punch was a perfect treat on the ride back!! Snorkeling with Clint was fantastic...I just wish it had lasted... More
