This Botanic Gardens was adjust to the DuPlooys Jungle Lodge where we stayed and so was so convenient to enjoy it more than once as we walked the property. Beautiful grounds and displays.

Excellent walking map. Nicely labeled trees and some flowers. Sadly, not as much in bloom as we would have liked, and no orchids were blooming at the time. This is an arduous walk on a hot day!

I have not been much for these type o attractions but I was with a large group and visiting this attraction was included. The trip up the bumpy roads on the side of a mountain is not for the faint of heart. The gardens were nice and the guide was helpful. That are very proud of their native plants and... More

arrived too late to explore botanic gardens themselves, but they put out some fruit for birds and kinkajous so you get to see them up close. Drinks on wooden elevated boardwalk very nice - bats flying by at sunset, egrets flying along river below. Beautiful setting

The variety of plants was very interesting, but the birds and turtles were just as good. We missed the blooming period, but could imagine. The trail is well marked and the plants have ID tags to help identify.

We enjoyed an extensive tour of the grounds with Josh, who was quite knowledgeable about the garden's collections, including practical and medicinal uses by the Mayas. Though we did not see the entire property, it impressed me more as an arboretum than a garden. The Garden also offers horticultural training programs, which is a great benefit to Belize.

Since we stayed at duPlooy's this was included in our stay. The grounds are lovely, and include some very interesting plants. It is fairly large and you can spend an hour or more wandering the grounds. This time of year there were not many flowers, but the plants were interesting.

Very nice botanical garden. Some of the identification signs are faded due to the temperature and humidity environment and should be updated. Nothing was in bloom when we were there. However, it was a nice afternoon walk

Nice to walk in. Orchid house is very pretty. During rainy season it, like all of western Belize, is extremely muddy.
