Our family rode horses to Xunantanech ruins. William was our guide and he was excellent. He kept an eye on how everyone was doing, warned us of low branches, etc. and was an extremely informative tour guide at the ruins. The horses were all well behaved. It was a very easy ride - and was fun taking the horses on... More

Amazing tour! The horses are lovely, really fun to ride and well taken care of, and the guides are super friendly and knowledgable! We had a great time exploring the ruins and a delicious lunch on our ride back. Even a tropical rain storm couldn't ruin this day :)

We arranged a horseback tour to Xunantunich through a package deal with our resort. Our guide was Terri and she was absolutely fabulous. My wife and I were in Belize on our honeymoon and I surprised her with this experience. It was really wonderful as Terri made my wife at ease (she overcame a childhood fear of horses) as Sadie... Never ridden a horse before, but it was absolutely no problem. The owner, Santiago picked us up at our resort and we knew immediately we would have a great time. He's very friendly and funny, and he made us feel comfortable even though it was our first time horseback riding. We booked the tour to Xunantunich and it couldn't have... More

I highly recommend using Hannah Stables to go Horseback riding. We were staying at Nabitunich Cottages so it was very convenient but you can go horseback riding even if you aren't staying on property as well. Wild Bill (William) was our tour guide and my mother and I were extremely please with his enthusiasm, knowledge and patience with us (it... More

I was the only guest at Hanna Stables during my 6 night stay. Everyone made me feel like part of the family, and the staff there are all memorable characters. Debra's cooking was amazing, and someone always joined me for dinner since I was a solo traveler. The property is beautiful and all of the horses are so well kept.... More

We had an amazing tour up to Xunantunich with William as our guide. The perfect way to see the ruins. Belize is really an incredible country! William was great and evidently loves what he does! The horses were very well trained (and very sweet!) Also enjoyed the lunch stop at Bennys Kitchen - highly recommend rice&beans or pork pibil!

Top-notch stables. Santiago and his staff are incredibly friendly, customer-focused and safe. We had a wonderful ride and saw Howler monkeys (my daughter's bucket list). The overnight accommodations were very pleasant and easy. The dinner was delicious. Highly recommend Hanna Stables!

We had an amazing day horseback riding up to Xunantunich with Julio. It was a long and tiring day but we were so glad we went. It was just our family on the trip (2 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 13) The horses were sweet and easy to handle. The ride out to the ruins was very picturesque,... More

Our trip went above and beyond my wife and I's expectations. We did the Xunantunich ride and David was our guide. It was a great ride next to the river, just the three of us. The horses were great, the ride was beautiful, and David was a great, knowledgable guide and very fun to be around. Once we arrived at... More
