We stayed at Hanna Stables with our three teenage daughters and took the farm tour by horseback. The setting is beautiful, and the staff very friendly and informative. Antonio made us feel very welcome and was able to answer many questions that we had about Belize. Highly recommended if you like to immerse yourself in the culture of the country.

The tour to Xunantunich with Jimmy at Hanna Stables was simply wonderful. Santiago and his team are the best and helped us create some amazing memories. It was my first time on a horse and had no issues at all. When we rode up to the ruins on horseback, I felt like a celebrity!! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Bennies... More

This is one of the best places i have ever seen to take a family. Close to a variety of Mayan ruins and other activities, this place offers something for everyone. It is a working farm, so expect to hear cows and horses and wildlife instead of traffic and people. The staff is exceptional and the owner knows his business... More

Santiago greets his guests every morning during a hearty and delicious breakfast and in the evening often visits with the guests in the common area. He ensured our daughters enjoyed their time and even arranged for them to milk a goat! They caught chickens with William. We went on a guided horseback ride to Xunantunich ruins and William was very... More

I am blown away by this tour. Teri our guide was amazing & @ the end of the day we felt more like we had spent a day with old friends than with a tour guide. We rode to black rock lodge(?) for lunch. I was more nervous so she made me feel comfortable & safe & she allowed my... More

My wife and I along with a friend went horse back riding to the Mayan ruins. Our guide and our wrangler were two of the friendliest people you could meet. When we got to the ruins they hooked us up with a guide that had 16yrs experience excavating the site, so his knowledge was first hand. He was a walking... More

Really great experience. The tour guide, WIlliam, was friendly, informative, and made it a great time. The owner, Santiago, was very flexible to work with. Our hotel, Midas Resort, recommended them after we mentioned our interest in some horseback. They picked us up at the resort and took us out to the stables, so we didn't even need to go... More

We spent a day with Devon (tour guide), Ruby (female horse), and Rubio (male horse) for the package of Xunantunic and local organic farm. It was amazing! Ruby and Rubio (especially) are the nicest horses we've ever encountered for vacation rides. The trip was scenic, easy, and Devon kept pointing out interesting facts along the way. We got a private... More

My Wife and I took a horseback ride from Hanna Stables to Xunantunich and absolutely loved it. The ride takes about 1-1.5 hours to arrive at Xunantunich. Once we arrived at the ruins we spent several hours touring Xunantunich on foot with a tour guide. Then, back on the horses for the ride back to Hanna stables. This horseback ride... More

One of our top highlights of our trip was horse back riding through the beautiful scenery of Belize. While on horseback you get to see Howler monkeys, Tucans, and Iguanas. Then upon arriving at the ruins, we had our own private tour guide of the ruins. He was so knowledgable and patient with us when we wanted time to sit... More
