Hun Chi'ik Tours was recommended to us by a travel company. Unfortunately, our experience in 2015 was terrible. For a travel industry professional, they charged us above full rate for the tour (over $100), they substitute tour operators (we were told one tour guide would be doing the tour only to find another show up), they picked us up in... Another tour in the books and Hun Chi'ik was my go-to tour company. They provided an excellent driver (Giovanni!) and new van for the group of 13, lead tours through Caves Branch tubing, ATM and Xunantunich. When the group needed a customized tour, Gilroy, Edward, and Israel created an afternoon that will not soon be forgotten . . . St.... More

Want to have an unforgettable experience while at this wonderful country of Belize book a tour with Hun Chi'ik Tours. This is a small tour company operating from the beautiful village of San Jose Succotz located in the Cayo District. Their service is wonderful and they can always suit a trip for your needs be it a cave, an archaeological... More

We did the Actun Tunichil Muknal tour with Hun Chiik Tours and it was incredible. Our guide was called Gliss and he was excellent. There were 2 of us and he looked after us on the entire walk and into the caves. In the caves there was so much cool stuff to check out including the natural formations, bats and... More

Gilroy, Edward, and the rest of the crew at Hun Chi'ik tours never cease to amaze! After 15 trips to Belize, I continue to return to them to lead tours for small groups of teachers, adventurers, and friends. They enthrall with their stories, amaze with their local knowledge of jungle plants and animals, and clearly share their love of their... More

I was travelling as part of a G Adventures tour group. 13 of us us in total took the ATM cave tour. Edward and Patrick were great. I was in the group with Edward, and he's a knowledgeable, experienced caver. Others in our tour party went to the Crystal Cave and went cave tubing, and they also had a great... More

I booked a trip to the ATM caves with Hun Chi'ik Tours. When the tour guide showed up at our hotel in a minivan that looked pretty run down, I didn't really think anything of it - from what I saw, it was the norm in this part of Belize. But when the van broke down 20 minutes into an... More

Our family of 4 booked a trip to the ATM cave with Hun Chi'ik during our Christmas holiday to San Ignacio. When we had hiked up to the cave entrance, the guides there wouldn't let us enter as the water was too high because of all of the recent rains. They said it was a "freak" occurrence and that we... We booked our trip to Cow Mountain/Crystal Cave with Hun Chik and did not know what to expect. Our guide Rudy and driver David were fun and friendly. Rudy is exceptionally knowledgable (my family nicknamed him Google) about not only cave systems and how they form, but knows a great deal about Mayan and other local history. In addition, he...
