We booked an ATM tour with Rudy at Hun Chi'ik tours, and he was both helpfull and professional. ATM was a wonderful adventure, but we want to give a special tribute to the guide for making the trip as good as it was. Patrick, AKA "hot chocolate", knew everything there is to know about the jungle and the mayan culture,... More

Me and two of my friends went on the ATM tour this june with Rudys company. Rudy was very helpful and honest, giving us all the information we needed. The tour in itself was very exciting, but what really made the tour was our awesome guide Patrick! He is extremely knowledgeable and hilarious. He is an inspirational character who will... More

Me and two friends booked the ATM-cave tour with Hun Chi'ik in San Ignacio. Rudy at the office took good care of us and gave us good information about the tour and helpful info about the city in general without being the typical pushy salesman you often meet while travelling. Our tour guide was Patrick, AKA Hot Chocolate, who really... More

This is a good trip but unfortunately these guides were in a hurry and I was too slow to suit them. The result was a tow by the guide and I was embarrassed in our group . No way to enjoy a "lazy " float trip and I would never join them again.

We used this company to visit the ATM caves. The were very professional and the guide was fantastic. Nice small groups and good lunch and the vehicle used was very comfortable. They even took one of our group to the Guatemala border as as was travelling on alone. Highly recommend!

My husband and I used this company to visit ATM. This tour company might not be for everybody but we were happy with them. They do have a rundown vehicle but I can see why they choose to use it based on how bad the roads can be. What we liked about them is that our guide, Abraham, tailored the... More

Went to the ATM cave with this group. Our guide was good and knew the cave very well. The ride getting there was another story. Rundown suburban can barely hold itself together. Hard to recommend this group when you can book the same tours with other groups for the same price and travel in a much more comfortable vehicle.

I went to ATM (cave) with them. The guy catch us on the street to bring us in his office. He knews everything about the tours and answer all our questions. I was a little nervous about been in a cave for 3 hours. We went there in a truck that was falling appart, with plastic bag for windows and... More

Hun Chi'ik was amazing. We used them for our tours of the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave, and for Tikal. Edward was our guide for ATM and he was fabulous! Incredibly knowledgeable, clearly very passionate about Mayan culture and preservation of the cave. Because it is a smaller tour company, we went in a small group and were able to... More

Hun Chi'ik Tours was recommended to us by a travel company. Unfortunately, our experience in 2015 was terrible. For a travel industry professional, they charged us above full rate for the tour (over $100), they substitute tour operators (we were told one tour guide would be doing the tour only to find another show up), they picked us up in...
