We started our two week Belize vacation in San Ignacio. The day after we arrived we did the ATM tour with Belize Nature Travel. After many e-mail exchanges before our trip, we felt they really cared and helped out with all our questions (really quick replies). They even helped us find a great place to stay at. Usually we like... More

Luis was our tour guide while sightseeing around San Ignacio. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids ages 12 & 13. He was a deep knowledge of the area from his days with his father in the jungles and his research projects at several Mayan sites. We toured Caracol, San Ignacio and the local zip line with him.... Luis has to be the most experienced tour guide in San Ignacio. Even better, he's probably also the best tour guide. He'll share tons of stories about all of the Mayan site excavations he's been involved with, or the military jungle survival training he helped run for the US and UK, or his family's involvement with the Belize zoo. There... More

My husband, 2 adult children and I recently completed a trip to Belize. We booked with Belize Nature Travel as they were very prompt and thorough at responding to my inquiries. I had been to San Ignacio before, so I wanted to see a few new sights. Two of us did not make our connecting flight in the US, so... More

To get to Caracol is long way, tskes exact 2hours and half. But we didn't get bored at all because the guide showed us wild animals on the way. We saw a Keel-billed Toucan flying, giant foot prints of Tapir. At Caracol Maya site, so many beautiful Yellow tail birds welcomed us! On the way back to San Ignacio town,... More

We exchanged several emails with Luis before hiring him as our tour guide. He was very patient and answered every question, proposing alternatives that fit better with what we wanted to see and do. We were very happy with our arrangements, We went on two wonderful tours of Caracol and Xunantunich. Luis also provided us with a transfer to our... More

Just got back from a group March breach trip with 13 teens and three adults. Luis took care of every detail. He took us to out of the way places and was always quick to point out birds and plants of interest. He moved easily from being an archeologist to a botanist (including a specialty in orchids) a geologist and... More

Luis Godoy runs a small business focused on a great a customer experience. We used him for our trips to both ATM and Tikal. Luis has great guides, bi-lingual, years of experience, all licensed, and with good vans that can handle the rough roads. ATM is an amazing experience you'll never forget. Adventure, archeology, Mayan ritual, wading across 3 river... More

I have traveled to Belize 3 times with Luis Godoy and his team. Not only are they excellent guides for birdwatching, ruins, caves, coral reefs, etc., but they will plan your entire trip including hotels, transfers, picnic lunches, whatever you need. We were lucky enough to be escorted by Luis himself but since we were a large group we met... More

We just finished a 4-day pre-arranged tour of the Cayo district in Belize. Our guide, David was awesome. He was friendly, outgoing, an expert on everything we did. He let us set the schedule each day and took care of everything. Very professional. He got really into birding with us and knew so much. He knew where to look for... More
