We went on three tours while staying in San Ignacio- Tikal, ATM, & Barton Creek/Zoo. We had three different guides- Billy, Jameer and Luis. All were exceptional in their knowledge, humour and passion for the trips they were leading. ( I believe that most of the guides in the area are excellent as well.) What made BNT special for us... Our tour guide Patrick took us and two other couples on a fantastic tour of the ATM cave. The cave is rich in Mayan artifacts, along which Patrick explained the history of the Mayan culture. In order to get to the chambers, you have to swim, climb, and squeeze through boulders of rock. The tour was a great combination of... More

We had back-to-back days with this service, doing the ATM cave first and a day trip to Tikal second. Our guides Patrick and Billy were nothing short of fantastic. They had in depth knowledge of the natural and archaeological history of these beautiful sites. They were worth every penny and we would go with their services again!

We had Luis for our tour day. Luis is friendly, an excellent guide, and wants everyone to enjoy themselves. He was very knowledgeable about Xunantunich and shared a lot of interesting facts about the area and the people. We had the best lunch in Belize on this tour! We also went to caves as well. Great company and tour guide!

I found BNT through tripadvisor's amazing reviews - and they are all very true! BNT was wonderful to work with every step of the way. Luis suggested activities and organized everything. We did the ATM tour with Patrick who was the best guide I've ever had! The lunches were delicious as well. I am very happy I decided to forego... More

First off, let me state that Luis at BNT deserves all these 5 star reviews. First off, we visited on Feb 25th to Belize on Carnival cruise. we had looked at using cruise excursion, which looked rushed, and we had some reservations about using an independent travel service in case we would miss the return time to the ship. However... More

Angelica helped set up the tour to xunantunich and to cave canoeing. Great communication via email. Israel was our local guide. He picked us up at the airport and got us back on time. We hiked around xunantunich where he showed us some areas that not been excavated yet. Lunch was provided and home made. It was simple (at our... More

We had an incredible experience in Belize with Belize Nature Travel. They organized 5 days of activities for us; each day was full, exciting, well-planned, and educational. Phenomenal. All of the guides were wonderful. Luis is amazing and has an incredible group do guides he works with. They were all very organized and accommodating. All of the activities were catered... More

This outfit deserves the Number One rating it has received. Luis is the main man in San Ignacio and he sets up the Tikal visit with one of several tour guides in Guatemala. Luis drives you to the border at 7:30, and the Guatemala guide stays with you until 4:30 when Luis meets you on the Belize side. Luis is... More
