It's impossible to top the rave reviews already made about the incredible ruins of Tikal, the adventure of a lifetime at Actun Tunichil Mucknal, and the superlative guiding skills of owner Elias Cambranes. Whether animal, vegetable, mineral, cultural, or historical, Elias (aa-LEE-us) is an encyclopedia of knowledge. You won't find better!

Made arrangements via internet: all contacts were very prompt w/good suggestions. We had time constraints and everything worked perfectly: transportation from airport to San Ignacio with Barton Creek on the way and Tikal tour where we stayed overnight on our own and arranged to return to San Ignacio the next day. ATM cave tour was special!! Elias is a very... More

We wanted to do the day-trip to Tikal from Belize and initially were slightly apprehensive about how we'd do this. We decided to go with a tour operator because we didn't want to worry about border crossings/catching buses etc. We read so many good things about Elias, one of the pluses being that he would be with us the whole... We did the ATM Cave and Tikal tours. Ben and Elias were awesome tour guides - full of information and we had a great time! We were about the third tour to head to the cave, but Ben hiked quickly with us and passed everyone and put us well ahead of all the other groups. The water was crystal clear... More

Was going to book through hotel. But our driver recommended this one for out tour of Tikal. Price was less, but gave it a try. Elias our guide was outstanding. Gained a great perspective on the Mayan people. He was very accommodating as well. The weather fortunately was great, with only a few sprinkles. My wife was a little hesitant... More

Pros: Elias is an excellent tour guide--he speaks English and Spanish, he is very knowledgeable, and was extremely accomodating to coordinate tours for two days under a very tight schedule. We went to Actun Tunichil Maknul and Tikal. In both cases, he was excellent. Cons: This is not a reflection on the tour company, but the restaurant that we visited... More

We booked ATM Cave and Tikal tours with K'atun Ahaw and had a great time! Elias took us to Tikal, he was informative, happy to go at our pace and take pictures of us, and generally nice. We rode in comfy air conditioned cars/vans and enjoyed lunch at a nice little restaurant outside the park. The ruins themselves were spectacular!... More

We just returned from our two week adventure in Belize. The ATM cave was the most incredible! You truly must do this. It was so neat to walk the same path as the ancient Mayan. Elias was wonderful via email. I never met him personally. But the guide he provided us was great! Hectorus was not rushed at all. He... More

If you are coming to the Cayo District, then you must book a tour with Elias (owner of the company) or one of his great guides. We took the Tikal tour and the ATM Cave tour with Elias and both were incredible experiences. At Tikal, it was just us two with Elias, and at ATM it was us and another... More

Elias was great with us. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids Under 12. We took the ATM tour first. Elias took great care with the kids. We then took the Tikal trip with him. The kids only speak french. We did not ask, but Elias found a french tour guide for us. We had so much fun... More
