The guides only take maximum 8 people, so that's better than many of the other companies you could choose. Also the guides were really good and had a good sense of humor. The food is purchased from a local lady, and tastes good. Also the price is the best in San Ignacio to go to the ATM-caves

Our guide, Aaron and Martin are really great and knowledgeable. I had a great day, it really worth staying one more night to do it, even though i was in a rush of leaving. Thank you to Andrew for sending us the picture. Its nice to know we can count on a tour operator that have late open hours even... More

My travel buddies and I did the popular ATM cave tour with Mayawalk tours after Andrew gave us a convincing pitch late in the evening the night before. We went in mid-September, which is super low season, and Mayawalk was still open late and early. Andrew was professional and convincing, talking up our guide, Aaron, and even showing us some... More

Definitely a must when visiting San Ignacio! And with Mayawalk, worth every penny. The price at 80 US dollars was the best price we could come across after asking around. The guides were super knowledgeable and passionate about their work. What separates these guys from all the rest, is that they only bring around 6 people on each tour, while... More

First: This trip is worth every single dollar! Second: This company gives you what they promise, and it is amazing. We showed up at 08.00, and had a quick briefing with one of our guides; Martin. He's a local guy who has done guiding trips for about 14 years, and it shows. We paid 80 USD. That is with everything... More

I'm so glad we ran into Jimmy on the street and listened to his pitch! I truly feel we would have missed out not only on some amazing tours, but also on the amazing friends we met at Mayawalk! If you can snag Aaron for the ATM tour you are in for a treat, he brought the caves to life,... More

We almost skipped the ATM cave, being on a tight budget and this tour being at the higher price. What a mistake this would have been. We were attracted to this company, like other reviewers, by Jimmy being a fast talker and friendly man on the sidewalk. From there we got the rundown from Aaron and decided to pull the... More

We first heard of Mayawalk while diving off Caye Caulker. Our dive master knew Andrew, the manager at Mayawalk. We called him up and, being rushed for time, asked for both cave tubing AND touring of the Actun Tunichil Muknal on the same day AND a discount. Not only that they were able to accommodate us, but also gave us... More

Mayawalk is pretty well-run. I believe I have already reviewed ATM cave, which is the tour we did through Mayawlk, so I will not focus on that here. Mayawalk has a bunch of different tours that they lead, and they all seem pretty cool. Andrew, who I think runs the business side of things, is who we dealt with when... More

Visiting Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave is a must, and you have to do it with a guide. We chose Mayawalk because of their competitive price, because we stayed at Bella's Backpackers they include a breakfast burrito (delicious!) and water shoes (so you don't have to get your own shoes wet). The guides (Aaron & Jamir) were extremely knowledgeable about... More
