Our vehicle broke down and left us stranded for an hour after leaving 45 mins late to begin with. I had to pry information out of our guide 'in the beginning as he seemed disintrested in talking. He warmed up as we went along and was generally very knowlegable but main goal was to rush us through the cave system... More

We did the ATM caves with these guys and enjoyed it. Our guide was Hugh, who is probably the best guide, judging by listening to other guides on the tour. Hugh was passionate about the history and culture of the mayans, and really made everything really enjoyable Hugh also took his time with us. We actually let several groups pass... More

We had the best two days with this company. The staff were really friendly and knew so much. The tour to ATM was perfect, we went in slightly later than all the other groups but this worked really well as I felt we went slow and had lots f time to take it all in and look around. Fabulous. The... More

This tour is awesome ! A combination of adventure and culture ! The tour was very well organized. Our guide (Aaron) was excellent, making sure we were safe, showing us the creatures that inhabit the cave and making us travel in time to meet the mayas and their rituals. The transport and the food were also excellent. it was worth... More

We deliberately opted to have Aaron as our guide for ATM and we were not disappointed. He is educated (archeologist), knowledgeable and a great fun. Time flies very quickly in the cave and we received some deep Mayan historical lectures. Some of them were too spiritual to my taste (I would rather skip and go a bit quicker) but most... More

went with 3 friends on an 8:00am tour of the ATM cave. we got Aaron as a guide and he was unreal. he was incredibly knowledgeable but also really fun. you can't take pictures in there but honestly that just adds to the whole natural caving experience. it cost 85 dollars but it was worth it. absolutely brilliant!

As you are not allowed to go into ATM cave without guide and nearest tour agencies are in San Ignacio we did a day tour with MayaWalk. There were 14 people with us and were splited into 2 groups. Aron, our guide, obviously loves Maya culture and archeology. It was interesting, fun day full of info about Mays.It is an hour long walk and... More

Through Mayawalk, my friend and I did an excursion to Tikal and to the ATM cave (which I highly, highly recommend). Both tours were a little pricey for a backpackers budget, but both were so worth it when considering all the border fees, transportation costs, and food that Mayawalk took care of for us. You don't have to worry about... More

The ATM is such an exciting experience on its own, but having the right tour company is so important. Mayawalk guides really take their time with the group to help you understand the history and background of the cave. You get to enjoy a nice easy trail hike with three river crossings before entering the cave. Our guide Aaron helped... More

Great group. Both tours were great. Crossing the border was a snap and Tikal is beautiful. Cave tubing was lots of fun. Our guide went the extra mile and made it that much more fun then expected.
