We arrived at San Ignancio via bus without even a place to stay. Soon after we found a room at Western Guesthouse (great place!) we walked down the street and we inundated with many tour companies offeriing the same tours. We chose Mayawalk for our Tikal trip and to go to the ATM caves. On the Tikal tour it was... More

My boyfriend and I booked a tour with Mayawalk for ATM. We were lucky enough to have had Aaron as our tour guide. I must say, it was one of THE BEST EXPERIENCES of my life. Aaron was incredibly knowledgeable of the history of both San Ignacio, and the cave. In fact, he was one of the first men to... More

I traveled to Belize for the first time and highly enjoyed the tours that Mayawalk Tours provided. I thought their service was exceptional especially when my partner and I only wanted a ride across the border into Guatemala to visit Tikal. Instead of paying for the guided tour, we were able to work out just getting a ride there and... More

Aaron took us on the adventure of a lifetime at the ATM Cave. We (husband and I) have traveled all over the world, seen, and done a lot of things. This trip was awesome! Totally worth the $$. Don't think about doing this trip, DO this trip. It's a no brainer!!!! Ask for Aaron to be your guide. He has... More

I have toured with a number of tour companies in San Ignacio, as I come down fairly often. Mayawalk may give you a good experience if you get lucky with a good guide, or they may be completely irresponsible and leave you in a lurch for accommodations or transportation. The attitude of the manager in the office is often gruff.... More

My day trip to the ATM cave was spectacular. I was incredibly impressed with Hector's breadth and depth of knowledge, not just about the cave, its history and inhabitants, but also about local history and politics. He was so insightful, engaging, and informed. Clearly so passionate about the cave and protecting it and its precious artifacts for future generations. Andrew,... More

I just used Mayawalk for ATM so can't comment on all activities, but it was a great day. Our guide, hector, was very well spoken and knowledgable about the cave. Very strong English vocabulary, better than most of my friends at home. I'm into birding, and I let Hector know that during the ride there. He proceeded to point out... More

My wife and I went on a day trip to the ATM caves outside of Belmopan and had an excellent experience. Our guide Abraham was very helpful with us and shared a lot of fascinating information about the caves and the Mayan site inside them. It felt he really went out of his way to make sure that we had... More

My wife and I were looking for a tour company to show us around the sights near San Ignacio. We spoke to many of the companies in the city and were delighted to find Mayawalk tours. They were friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and generous. We first went with them to Tikal in Guatemala to see the ancient Mayan ruins. Hugo, our... More

There were just three of us for ATM which was cool. We had we were told a famous guide whose name is Martin. He was very serious about the... More
