The ATM tour with Mayawalk Tours is a MUST DO in San Ignacio area. I would choose this tour company because it is locally owned and operated and the tour guides are clearly knowledgeable about and proud of their Mayan roots. We were accompanied to this amazing cave by guide Martin whose knowledge of Mayan history and his love of... More

We had a great ATM tour with Mayawalk. We set it up the night before, had a guide that was thoughtful, interesting and funny, and the cave of course was awesome. I'd be hesitant to send kids with this group based on the lack of seat belts on the 1h30min drive, but otherwise, I'd recommend this tour company. It was... More

We had a wonderful time on our 2 tours we took with Mayawalk. The guides were very professional & made our experiences great. They were knowledgeable & proud of their heritage & education, as they should be. They were generous in the information unrelated to the tours that they shared with us & made us feel welcome in their countries.... More

Guide was not professional nor did he seem well informed although he acted like he knew more than a schooled archeologist. Van lacked seatbelts and two participants banged heads on roof going over major bumpy road. Later found out the guide was not properly certified. They are likely to get hit with hefty fine. Not a fun day.

My daughter and I booked this tour with Andrew and they even adjusted the departure time to accommodate our plans. Aaron was the BEST! He is very informative and made the tour very fun. I would recommend this tour above all others. It was definitely worth the money! We were told by others that had gone with Mayawalk Tours to... More

Mayawalk Tours was recommended to us by our AirBnB hosts and they didn't disappoint! The ATM Cave was the highlight of our trip and is a must-do if you're in the San Ignacio area. Andrew and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable and made our day fantastic. The number of permits allowed that day had changed on short notice... More

Mayawalk gives a great tour. The cave was the coolest thing we did in Belize. The tour was a real adventure for us as we had never been in a cave before and the geology and archeology was very interesting. Aaron was our guide and he was extremely helpful.Be ready to be wet!

It seems Mayawalk rests on their reputation but does little to deserve it any more. The two people who attended us in their office in San Ignacio lengthily explained why they are the best for ATM: the guides, the food, the organization. But after the cave closed one day from high water (rain), they were totally unable to organize the... More

The ATM your was definitely worth the money and bumpy ride. Our guide Aaron was very friendly and informative about the history of not only the caves, but the country itself. We were well taken care of and can recommend this trip to everyone!

Pedro was a great guide and an excellent 4WD driver. The almost 3-1/2 hour ride to Caracol was very bumpy. Interesting changes in topography along the way. Mayawalk had the best price, but the lunch was kind ofskimpy and not enough water provided (although the beer was refreshiing). Caracol was very beautiful and easy to see why it wasn't atourist...
