I felt 100% comfortable with the guides, Marcos, Junior, and Garcia. They were all so helpful and friendly. I personally am a little uncomfortable in caves, but not a lot of time where I couldn't see the light in front or behind me. The light on my helmet started out low and faded, so not much help there. I was... More

My wife and I signed up for an all day guided tour with Maya Guide Adventures, which is run by Marcos. He is located on the Hummingbird Highway - you have to drive south about half a mile from the SECOND Blue Hole National Park entrance, and you will see a sign on the left - make a right turn... More

We recently had the pleasure of spending the day cave kayaking with Marcos and MGA. There were 6 of us so we had a private tour. Marcos picked us up at the cruise terminal and we were on our way. We had a great drive learning about the area and history. Once at our destination, we hiked a while until... More

Marcus showed us a slice of life we would never have found on our own. This trip was both challenging and exciting at the same time. Our adventure was the Cave Kayaking and it is top-rated with us. It was a great value for an exciting day. We put into the river well above the place the "tubers" enter thus... More

Every trip to Belize we book something through MGA. They are outstanding guides, extremely knowledgeable and just great people to spend time with. This time we did a custom Jungle trek which was amazing, although it was a little challenging for some in the group. When they say no flip-flops they mean it :) If you want a great trip... More

Our team of 22 decided to use Maya Guide Adventures to complete our trekk phase for our World Challenge expedition and I am very glad we did. The sights were incredible, we even got to sleep under the stars in the middle of the jungle! Our leaders Chris, Junior and Pedro were brilliant and taught us a lot whilst making... More

My wife and I went cave tubing in Belize and loved it and wanted something more. Through Lonely Planet we came across a recommendation for Marco who runs Maya Guide and ended up giving him a call. It was a 7 mile kayak through 9 cave systems that took several hours. It was first rate and fantastic and the definite... More

Marcus & Francis were wonderful! They are highly trained and knowledgeable. We spent a day cave kayaking with Marcus and had an amazing time. He provided our lunch, which was typical local fare made by his family. He spent a great deal of time showing us various wonders of the Mayan cave system and the local flora and fauna. He... More

Marcos & Francis were great hosts and local guides for our day trip. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids age 12 & 13 and all of us enjoyed the cave kayaking. Avoid the slow moving tubes that only 1/6 of the river/caves. The kayaks are the only way to go. They have great equipment, a wealth of... More

I have been on this trip twice now and plan to do it again on my next trip to Belize. Marcos know his stuff and leads beginners to experts through the adventures in Belize. The Cave Kayak trip is well worth the cost.
