We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys and thoroughly enjoyed two consecutive days with Maya Guide Adventures in the Cayo District. Day 1 was Xunantunich Mayan Ruins and kayaking the Mopan river. Day 2 was St. Herman's caves. Xunantunich and Kayaking were a great way to start our vacation in Belize. Xunantunich is a beautiful site and... More

Francis and crew took just the four of us (couple and two boys 11 and 13) on a lovely day-long kayak adventure, with class 1 rapids that our novice kids could navigate on their own, long stretches of caves and open jungle, Provided a build-your-own burrito lunch and lots of information about the landscape and its history. Except for running... More

We showed up for cave kayaking only to be told that recent heavy rains had made the trip too dangerous. No problem, you cannot do anything about the weather. I reminded our guide of the $60 deposit and was assured it would be returned to my credit card. PayPal sent me a statement showing a credit of $36 and a... More

This was our first visit to Belize. I'm so glad we chose the Xunantunich & Kayaking Tour with Maya Guide Adventures. Marcos and Francis we so friendly. They took their time to explain the history of the ruins and they seemed genuinely interested in sharing the details. It was fascinating to learn from them. We had a tasty lunch in... More

We share five days with Marcos and his family, and we appreciate everything. We also stay with them in the Yax'che jungle camp. We had enjoy a three days survival trip and after that, a day kayaking in the cave. We had the chance to do all our activities with Marcos him selves. That guys is a really great guide... More

Marcos is great! The cave kayaking was wonderful and the hiking was fun too. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend Marcos as the most informative and calm and interesting guide, bar none. The equipment could use an update, but hey. Book a venture with him and I'm sure he is working on some new new less smelly... More

I felt 100% comfortable with the guides, Marcos, Junior, and Garcia. They were all so helpful and friendly. I personally am a little uncomfortable in caves, but not a lot of time where I couldn't see the light in front or behind me. The light on my helmet started out low and faded, so not much help there. I was... More

My wife and I signed up for an all day guided tour with Maya Guide Adventures, which is run by Marcos. He is located on the Hummingbird Highway - you have to drive south about half a mile from the SECOND Blue Hole National Park entrance, and you will see a sign on the left - make a right turn... We recently had the pleasure of spending the day cave kayaking with Marcos and MGA. There were 6 of us so we had a private tour. Marcos picked us up at the cruise terminal and we were on our way. We had a great drive learning about the area and history. Once at our destination, we hiked a while until... More

Marcus showed us a slice of life we would never have found on our own. This trip was both challenging and exciting at the same time. Our adventure was the Cave Kayaking and it is top-rated with us. It was a great value for an exciting day. We put into the river well above the place the "tubers" enter thus... More
