We decided to drive the 40 min from San Ignacio to Jaguar Paw and just hire a guide from there for $30 per person (plus the $5/person park entrance fee). We ended up going with Edwin, a private guide, who took us further than usual to see an additional cave and showed us a tall rock where we could jump... More

The bad part about cave tubing is that you have to carry your rubber tube and walk a ways to the river. Luckily, Victor, one of our guides, saw how slowly I walked and carried my tube for me. Once at the river, however, the experience began. With headlights on, we set our butts in our tubes and drifted into... More

We were excited about going tubing through a dark cave and experiencing the natural beauty of Belize. What we got was an incredibly congested short float through a commercially-exploited natural cavern. We were on the Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas and booked this excursion. We were transported by school bus for 90 minutes to the caves where there were... More

We had a great time with the cave tubing and zip line tour. Our guide Edmond was fantastic and funny. We always felt safe. The bus and overall guide, Elvis was brilliant. He was knowledgeable and engaging. He was respectful and polite. The only disappointing part of the trip was printing our photos that we had paid for. The photos... More

Worth doing once while in Belmopan. A lazy cruise down a crystal cave on a rubber dinghy is not something you do everyday! You need to take a guide from either the road before the venue or through a booking agent. Worth

Great experience. A bit creepy when you turn off your headlight. Avoid the cruise ship tour days. Your imagination of scary things is just that -imagination.

You must see this cave/river. Best to see late in the afternoon when there are no tourists/noise around. Really amazing.

wanted to do Caves Branch, but not enough water flow, so ended up here thru Chukka. The potential here is fantastic, and we had a great time as got in before the crowds, but this only works if you are more or less alone in the cave - which we were. we were told that cruise ships send hundreds of... We went cave tubing on this lazy river with our guide David who was highly recommended by the Jungle Dome. We had a very relaxing day seeing some Mayan artifacts and learning the caves history. David took us into the crystal room and brought us to a beautiful pool where we got to jump off a rock and swim a... More
