Good Food

We have eaten here several times. The food is always good and it is a relaxing spot. The gift shop is a nice place to pick up a gift.

I found it by accident and walked in for a pleasant 45 minutes or an hour. Some things were done by children and I liked that. (former teacher who continues to teach in various ways.) There were explanations in /english as well as Spanish.

Very close to the Belize City, good place to chill. Has an artificial beach, restaurant and bar. Nice clean waters, a water slide, scenic marina and just by the sea...!

We went to the Old Belize Museum on a Saturday in January. The place was practically vacant that day, so we got to thoroughly examine it. The restaurant was pretty good. The museum tour was average, but it did provide some insight into the history of the area. There is a swimming area with a waterslide in a man-made lagoon... More

The museum was closed so I cant speak to that but other than a pretty view of a small marina, a decent restaurant and an overpriced gift ship there isnt much here to do. I guess if you have a reason to go swimming at a man made beach for a fee with children then it would be a fun... More

We planned a day at the beach for each port. We hired a taxi to take us to the best beach, he informed us that there were no natural beaches in Belize City. We were so surprised. He suggested we spend the day at Old Belize Beach. I guess the other beaches we had been to on our cruise spoiled... More

We loved our day at Old Belize/Cucumber Beach. We actually ended up here at the recommendation of a Taxi operator at the cruise port. This place is mainly for the locals, so we were there on a weekday and had the place to ourselves. Very clean and the staff was great. Would return.

My family and I visited this place during the week which was a wise choice because it could get very crowded and overwhelming for an older person with disabilities. We spent are time enjoying the view at the water park. It was a relaxing setting and the younger crowd enjoyed swimming in the water. My daughter loved the slide, she... More

Here's the straight skinny------The museum should be included when you purchase a day at the Water Park....but hey, it's part of the draw. It's side show quality at best. Salt water park was immaculate and FUN ! The 90 ft slide was a blast. Loved it. Kids will have fun fun fun. Resturant is spacious and menu is large. I... More
