Owner description: Cruise Ship Passengers and Overnight visitors can enjoy some of the most unique adventures in Belize. Our tours are fun, safe and a must do at this port of Belize. Apart from the turquoise seas, the sandy beaches of the many islands dotted off our shores and the rich blanket of rainforest that spreads across the country, there is a world yet to be explored beneath the surface. Discover the secrets of the ancient Mayas tubing through an underground realm exploring majestic caves, known as the Mayan underworld. This cave tubing adventure is done several places in Belize, including at the Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve. Visitors can experience a journey of a lifetime into a dark but mysterious place and learn about the Mayas who utilized these caves from as early as 300 A.D. The Mayas who occupied Belize thousands of years ago, considered these caves as Sacred. The Mayas only visited these caves periodically to conduct important rituals.

We went out to Xunantunich and did the cave tubing adventure on Jan. 8, 2015 with our tour guide, Rick. The entire experience was great, from the history of the ruins to the food we had for breakfast and lunch. Xunantunich The ruins are impressive. The very top of the Castillo provides a great view of Belize and Guatemala. If... More

I'm 34 and my family and I decided to take a cruise w/ RC. The excursions are very pricey so I decided to look on my own. I booked w/ Jungle Trek and got Gavin as our guide. He was high energy and extremely knowledgeable. My niece was hysterical crying and he was able to make it a positive experience... More

Traveling to Belize for the first time from the states and connected with Jungle Trek thru our hotel. We drove with our family of four and two others out to the mountains and learned a lot about Belize. Andre should be Prime Minister! He has a great knowledge of the country. The zip line ride was fun even if it... More

We booked this tour with Belize Jungle Trek for 18th of November and were promised to be picked up as we exited the port. When we arrived on the second tender we found out the company had already left without us! No e-mail or phone call to explains why. We then just found out he had offloaded us to "Butts... More

Took this excursion with Butts Up! The zip line was a lot of fun and exciting. The cave tubing wasn't bad but wasn't significantly exciting. The best part of the cave tubing was probably the trek through the jungle. Our guide told us a lot about the jungle and the different plants and animals.

This was a cruise ship excursion. It was An hour bus ride from the port and not very scenic. You carry your own tube on an approx. one mile hike thru the rain forest. The trail is a bit uneven, but very doable assuming you can walk a mile. The guide we helpful and pleasant. There was a stop or... More

This was one of the best stops on our 7 day cruise. The tour guide Rick aka Rusher. was awsome and very informative on the island. He was on time picking us up and took us straight to our private tour cave tubing and zip lining! My boys loved the private walk through the rain forest, they even got to... More

While on a cruise with my family we had this adventure lined up. It took 1.5 hours to arrive at the caves and then the same time to get back to port. First off, Belize is a very poor country and there is a monopoly on every product including alcohol. They have ONE beer, Belikin beer and it sucks. The... More

I wasn't aware I would have to carry a big, heavy, inner tube. I paid one of the tour guides, jasmine, $5 because I would not carry one. Cave was boring, dark and flashlights didn't help much, either. I couldn't wait for it to be over. The hike to get there was not what I expected, either.
