My friend and I just got back from Caye Caulker today, and we took this tour twice, a few days apart because we enjoyed ourselves so much. We had Romeo as our guide both times and he was very knowledgeable with the fish, corals and the area we were seeing. He made sure that everyone on board was comfortable with... More

Carlos (and his 2nd in command, Romeo), take you to more places (5 vs. 3 on the typical tour) for snorkeling in Hol Chan. You see more fish, better coral formations, etc. Plus, the way that they time it, you avoid the crowds - so no goofy schools of overweight/intoxicated cruise ship flounders kicking you in the head while you... Every time my wife and I go to Caye Caulker (about annually now) we make a point of going out with Carlos to the Hol Chan reserve. Every time we see something new, learn another detail of the ecosystem or island life, or enjoy the eclectic mix of people on his boat a bit more. Carlos is the best at... More

We ran into a few mechanical difficulties and Carlos handled things with diplomacy, ingenuity and grace. You know that you've got a good and well-experienced guide when he acts well under difficult circumstances. For us, that meant a delay of one day, but Carlos more than made up for it. Like everyone else has written, he is a great guide,... More

This was hands down the best snorkeling I have ever done. We saw more in the first 10 seconds than I have on entire snorkeling trips before. Carlos is wonderful, very enthusiastic and knowledgable. We saw tons of fish, beautifully colored coral, rays, turtles, nurse sharks, eels, lobster, and more. It was reasonably priced at $50 per person for a... More

After checking out a number of reviews on TA, we decided to go with Carlos. I guess he had a big day on the books because there were actually two boats on the day we went out. Carlos fitted us for our equipment and then sent us to the docks. We actually went out with another guide (Romero) who was... More

Our day with Carlos is one of the best we spent on the island. I found Carlos to be attentive and funny - from his dancing spin around the room while sizing our feet and masks to the way he wears his towel like a toga while driving the boat. He is committed to safety for both the snorkelers and... More

We scheduled our trip with Carlos on Monday to go out Wednesday and we showed up on time. We had asked about getting my husband goggles with a prescription because he wears glasses and they had them. When we got there we waited for quite awhile and it seemed the reason for the wait was trying to get more people... More

The snorkeling tour was incredible. Carlos is very knowledgeable about all of the fish and coral types in the different areas you visit. His tour is also a very eco friendly tour. Carlos takes underwater pictures during the diving experience and pictures of the individuals on each tour. CD's of your diving experience are available after the tour and the... More
