Very nice for a small zoo. It has several animals, insects, snakes and such to see. Has family sites for picnics and children park. Staff is easy going and knowledgeable.

Everything is very clean and nice- well taken care of, but it could offer more excitement, a little bit sleepy of an environment.

The cost is too much for entry to the park then additional for the zoo. As a teenager, it was always packed with people but once they started charging to get in even to the park, that all changed.

Thank you for your feedback. We have added several amenities over the past several years. We try our best to keep the Park affordable for families while continuing to enhance the visitor experience. Family memberships are a great way to save money and visit for an entire year! More

Only saw a part of the park hope to return to view more. The part I did see seem to have a lot to offer for any event.

Three of us went to the Christmas light show at Chehaw park tonight. I should of realized when there was not a crowd or for that many any one that something was amiss. Well we paid our $15.00 and took the tour of if you could call it that. It looks like there are a lot of lights from the... More

Thank you for your feedback. Our maintenance team works throughout the year to not only create all of the lights by hand, but to arrange them throughout an 800 acre Park. We add to the show each year, while making every effort to keep the experience affordable for families. We will take your feedback into consideration for next year's Festival... More

Never crowded, peaceful, clean playgrounds and a great wild animal park. A true surprise for all who visit. Definitely worth a visit during the holidays to see the Festival of Lights via the park's train.

After driving from Clearwater Fl we found this park to let the kids have a run around before finding our motel. We would have like more time here but it was getting late in the day. The play ground was good and had a pleasant quiet atmosphere watching the squirrels hopping around. Didn't visit the wildlife park I reckon the... More

We went on a homeschool field trip to the animal park a the end of October. It is a small zoo but nicely shaded. The animals had good clean enclosures although a bit small for some of the them. We did find some garbage along the trail but it was mostly clean. The number of animals per enclosure was a... More

Thank you for your review! Sorry you were disappointed in our petting zoo, our first concern is keeping our animals and the public safe from each other. We make sure the animals can only be interacted with if they choose. They are all very friendly but they do have a mind of their own. Sometimes they are in the mood... More

The park has a "pocket" Zoo that is very good. You can get up close to the animals and feel completely safe. Alligators 4 to 5 feet below you, it is amazing what you see that close. The park has a campground, a great playground for under 10, off road bike trails, a BMX park, a frisbee golf course. and... More

This place is okay for kids or family to enjoy the nature and animals. But we go there with friends, so there are not too many things to do.
