After driving from Clearwater Fl we found this park to let the kids have a run around before finding our motel. We would have like more time here but it was getting late in the day. The play ground was good and had a pleasant quiet atmosphere watching the squirrels hopping around. Didn't visit the wildlife park I reckon the... More

We went on a homeschool field trip to the animal park a the end of October. It is a small zoo but nicely shaded. The animals had good clean enclosures although a bit small for some of the them. We did find some garbage along the trail but it was mostly clean. The number of animals per enclosure was a... More

Thank you for your review! Sorry you were disappointed in our petting zoo, our first concern is keeping our animals and the public safe from each other. We make sure the animals can only be interacted with if they choose. They are all very friendly but they do have a mind of their own. Sometimes they are in the mood... More

The park has a "pocket" Zoo that is very good. You can get up close to the animals and feel completely safe. Alligators 4 to 5 feet below you, it is amazing what you see that close. The park has a campground, a great playground for under 10, off road bike trails, a BMX park, a frisbee golf course. and... More

This place is okay for kids or family to enjoy the nature and animals. But we go there with friends, so there are not too many things to do.

It was a good few hour amusement. The place looked as if they havent mowed or did any upkeep in a couple of months or more. It wasnt all what we expected but we still enjoyed it. The price was very compatable for what we saw and did.

Thanks for the review! At over 800 acres we try our best to stay on top of mowing the grass, but it can be difficult during the wet months where the grass really starts to sprout! We hope you will visit again soon. More

OMG this place is GREAT. First time I ever got to hold/touch a baby gator. This place has it all, from playgrounds to a Zoo. We had so much fun.

There are several things to do here. Once, we just played Frisbee and exercised. We have gone to the zoo and love the section where you can feed the animals. At Christmas, they have a wonderful train ride and you can get hot chocolate. Kids love the playground, too.

This park has undergone several changes since my childhood but it's still pretty & tasteful. Having been away 20yrs there were several upgrades, but it was still the same, a nice memory. My daughter explored the new playground and geocached around park (and areas just outside of park). Parks are clean & cared for, a fun picnic spot with plenty... More
