I enjoy walking in this park and along the river. They have bench swings good for couples and the Ray Charles monument plays music.

We were told not to go here, even during the day because it is too dangerous, It seemed like a nice park, on Memorial Day vandals had damaged the Veterans Park just down the road from here.

Many years have been spent on constructing this park. It's wide open spaces give people lots of room to have picnics and activities. The river walk is nice and relaxing. Beautiful area on the river. The original Bridge House is still in place. The Riverquarium is next to the park and educational.

Great way to honor Ray Charles. It is a great place to have a picnic lunch if you are downtown. If there are schools visiting Turtle Park if can get a little disruptive.

This is a really nice park, located close to the Flint River Museum. There were kids enjoying running through the water park and you would have thought Ray Charles was there himself. The piano exhibit was playing music. The welcome center gave us all free t-shirts. We really enjoyed our selves.

I had an extra afternoon to spend and enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful grounds. They also have bicycles to rent in the Visitor Center so you can take advantage of the bike paths and ride around the area.

The statue is very nice and the park or area that it is located at is very peaceful. I would have loved to have walked along the Flint River but my time was limited and the weather was not that good at the time of my visit. I am sure there are many things to explore in the area. I... More

The Ray Charles Memorial is only the center piece of this wonderful park. There are playgrounds for kids, beautiful scenery, a hiking trail, and adjacent to a downtown section that is being revitalized. You are next door to the Flint River Quarium, across the street from dining and a Sheraton Hotel. This area is well worth your time if you... More
