The opera house is an old 2nd floor theater. I think it is also called Bizarre Bazaar. Old equipment from the movie and stage theater is displayed, plus thousands of items. Even if you're not looking for anything and not prepared to die, this is a fun walk through.

I love going to the Opera House, I have visited here several times. It is known to be haunted which makes it all the more fun. Many rooms of items, go check it out. Fun times.

Lots of antique stores on Oak street. I was enjoying shopping until the fact that too much coffee caught up to my bladder. A word of advice...don't ask to use any one of these stores restrooms. Surprisingly they don't have any, really.....that is the answer you'll get. I'm not sure what they do when nature calls. Don't ask in the... More

This is an easy place to pass by, it is on the second floor right in the middle of other stores. Look for it or ask anyone, it is really great. Tons of old stuff in so many rooms you will spend an hour or more browsing through them. Make sure to go up on the old stage to see... More

The Arcadia Opera House might be one of the best attractions in Arcadia to see but I will never know, to get to it you have to climb up a long steep staircase so as I am disabled I could not do the climb.

The Old Opera House Museum and antique stores are well worth a visit in spite of the long staircase to climb to get there. Once at the top there are many rooms of antiques to browse through and then you come across the museum part which includes many historical memorabilia about the cowboys of years gone by, and cattle king... As previous readers have stated, "if you are into antiques, this is the place". Honestly, I like to browse, but it is not my cup of tea. However, the architecture of the movie house is mesmerizing. The bank with the original vaults (stuffed with buys) was amazing. I did browse, but mostly at the history and structures. It was a... More

Spooky! Beautiful, quite extra ordinary. You can imagine the cattle barons shooting outside and dancing inside. Mustve been a real fantastic location. The termites eat this place alive so I am pleasantly surprised its still standing! You must pay this place a visit if you can!

This is an interesting and enjoyable place to visit. You never know what treasures you might discover. As other reviews have said, it is like antiques shops used to be. The new owners have greatly improved the Opera House over the last couple of years - it's well worth a visit whenever you are in the Arcadia area.
