It needs a little TLC but don't let the exterior fool you ... go in! There are a lot of stories in those old floor boards. Re-purposed to an antique store/museum, this property is a "diamond in the rough". The stage area and the balcony opposite, are a step back in time. I hope they are able to restore this... More

Walking up the creaking old wooden stairs is like walking through a porthole in time. The old Opera House/Theater is full of treasures for sale from the past. The real value of a visit here is the architecture and history of the building. Visitors can walk up onto and behind the stage. Slow down, take a few minutes, and just... More

Well all of this area is filled with great antique stores and this is just one of them. Make sure and hit the ice cream shop and the cafe with the top hate host.

The opera house is an old 2nd floor theater. I think it is also called Bizarre Bazaar. Old equipment from the movie and stage theater is displayed, plus thousands of items. Even if you're not looking for anything and not prepared to die, this is a fun walk through.

I love going to the Opera House, I have visited here several times. It is known to be haunted which makes it all the more fun. Many rooms of items, go check it out. Fun times.

Lots of antique stores on Oak street. I was enjoying shopping until the fact that too much coffee caught up to my bladder. A word of advice...don't ask to use any one of these stores restrooms. Surprisingly they don't have any, really.....that is the answer you'll get. I'm not sure what they do when nature calls. Don't ask in the... More

This is an easy place to pass by, it is on the second floor right in the middle of other stores. Look for it or ask anyone, it is really great. Tons of old stuff in so many rooms you will spend an hour or more browsing through them. Make sure to go up on the old stage to see... More

The Arcadia Opera House might be one of the best attractions in Arcadia to see but I will never know, to get to it you have to climb up a long steep staircase so as I am disabled I could not do the climb.

The Old Opera House Museum and antique stores are well worth a visit in spite of the long staircase to climb to get there. Once at the top there are many rooms of antiques to browse through and then you come across the museum part which includes many historical memorabilia about the cowboys of years gone by, and cattle king...
