Now that I am back from my vacation it is time to get serious about all the goodies I ate while gone. So, I hit our favorite trail with my husband today. Going from the parking lot at the Budda Temple to Clark Rd. is about 3 miles round-trip and that is our usual. Although this time of day 2:00... More

We started at the Chapin Station and rode down through Winter Gardens - all the way down to the southern terminus of the trail, which was about 18 miles round trip. The section through Winter Gardens is nice. There are plenty of shops and places to eat. We stopped and enjoyed lunch on our return back to Chapin. There are... More

Looked up this trail before our March break vacation in Florida. It was EXCELLENT! We brought all 5 bikes for our family - everybody loved it. Trails are smoothly paved and no big hills. Goes through little historic towns which allow for breaks to purchase ice cream, etc. Loved it!

Very well maintained Bicycle Off-Road Trail, centered about Winter Garden (the trail runs right down the middle of a landscaped median thru the center of Historic Winter Garden, but it connects seamlessly to the Apopka Trail to the north-east, and the Lake County Trail to the west going all the way to Lake Miniola and Claremont. It is about 60... More

The West Orange Trail is a sweet find for those who enjoy Central Florida's natural beauty. We biked from Killarney Station to downtown Winter Garden and back, about a 10.5 mile ride. The trail is relatively flat and includes a variety of rural, suburban and small-town urban scenery. It's great the way the trail is incorporated into the heart of... More

The whole trail from Killarney to Apopka is well maintained and a nice flat, easy ride. There are numerous places to park and start your ride. The Apopka end of the trail is less travelled, which can be good on weekends when usage is heavy at the other end of the trail. Try starting at Apopka Station or Spin City... More

This is a very nice, well maintained trail in central Florida. Although it has a lot of at-grade crossings most of the crossings are low volume so it's not a problem. Also, it's nice how the trail was incorporated through the center of the Winter Garden historic district. Other nice features include the old train stations have been renovated to... More

The trail is well-maintained and goes through a variety of areas - Center of towns to wooded areas. The trail is almost all flat that makes for an easy ride. There are water colers with ice cold water along the trail. At mile 0 and 5.5 there are bicycle shops that rent bikes. We rented a tandem from the shop... More

What a beautiful trail. Winding down this trail you forget you are in Florida. The canopied sections are just beautiful, peaceful and calm. Part of the trail runs through downtown historic Winter Garden, and even over the Florida turnpike via a re-purposed railway trestle - very cool by the way. The people are generally curteous and nice, but when crowded... More

I have found this to be a very pleasant route to ride my bicycle while it's located some distance from my house j just look at it as extra exercise. When I do ride I take it all the way to winter garden where I can relax end enjoy what that quaint town has to offer I certainly recommend this... More
