I've visited many beaches based on reviews on Trip Advisor and found them over hyped. Not this one. It's absolutely beautiful. We parked at Rods & Reels Pier and had the pick of the sand as it was deserted. The kids loved the warm water (beware the strong current if visiting with very small children), whilst we relaxed. Lunch at... More

This was our second time to ami and bean point is a must. We found a few conch shells, saw birds diving for fish and an amazing sunset. There is parking on gladiolus - you'll see the signs.

We parked at the rod and reel pier-decent walk but not bad,you can see the skybridge off in the distance.we saw cruise ships, sailboats and even a couple getting engagement pictures.Beach is very wide.we went late afternoon and stayed for sunset, very spectacular.the bay and gulf meet and the water seemed a bit more swift than the other areas but even our... This does take a bit of a walk if you can find a decent place to park. We parked at Rod & Reel pier. Decent walk to the entrance ...but once you get there, the path is short and nice. Views are very pretty but very similar to the other areas of the island for the most part. Didn't go... More

I have falling in LOVE with this Island and beach location. This beach is nestled between two piers and hidden on the North end of island. It takes a little effort to find but worth the effort. The side bar is not as wide as perhaps the west side of the island but I love the seclusion and intimate sunsets.... More

Bean Point is beautiful! When we vacation on Anna Maria Island we stay at the Anna Maria Motel which is at the end of the island. All you have to do is walk across the street and down a path and Bean point is steps away!! The sunsets there are something like you have never seen before!! My husband always... More

Gotta visit while in the area. Kind of hard to find - but worth the effort. Parking can be a nightmare. Not much to do if you have kids and the water seemed pretty swift moving. You are gonna love the sunset.

Being the northern most tip of AMI, this is the perfect place to watch sunrise and sunset. Be careful of the rip currents when swimming though. Because of its location, it seems to have quite a few. Also, the beach is very wide, so it does require quite a bit of walking along sand to get to the water.

My family and I walked up to Beans Point on a hot day hoping to see something different but really it looks the same to me as the rest of the island. Picturesque, wonderful and all that. It would be pretty to exchange vows there or for a romantic walk but dont go out of your way for it.

Loved this area. We saw such great wildlife here, in and out of the water. We had manta ray and manatees swim right by us.
