My friends and I decided to take a stroll along Bean Point after enjoying a great dinner at a local restaurant. What a gem!!! The beach is large with beautiful white sand. Great area for early morning or dusk time fishing. But wait, the sunset at this beach has to be one of the best in the country. The population... More

Visiting Bean Point is a must during your stay on AMI. For the past three summers we've always gone to watch the fantastic sunsets that can be observed from Bean Point.

Not sure where they want you to park. Quite a hike but well worth it. The blue-green gulf of Mexico merges with the inner dark blue waterway bordered by wide white beaches.

Bean Point is perhaps the most beautiful beach on the West Coast of Florida. If you time it right, you can walk out into the gulf about 150 yards to a sand bar that is above water. You have to park along residential streets and walk between multi milliondollar homes via public beach access paths. It's a must see while... More

Huge! White powdery sand, not crowded, close to the city pier and rod and reel pier, close to restaurants.

Anna Maria Island is a slice of real Florida, and Bean Point is a place you can have to yourself or to share with the few other fisherman or tourists. One early morning I found myself watching a 6 foot Nurse Shark being slowly hauled in (and released), live. Something you can see on Youtube, but live is best with... More

Sand has added to beach so it is a longer walk to water than in the past. Be careful in water current can be treacherous but fishing is good.pRETTY VIEWS WORTH THE WALK.

Hardly anybody about to share the glorious scenery. Take your shoes off and walk along the sand and take in the view.

It's a bit of a walk. Virtually no parking. But well worth it. A slice of quiet paradise away from the crowds. Cool shells.
