We just loved walking Bean Point. The day we were there we saw some jellyfish (not the kind that sting) and also a Nerf sharf doing some fishing. The waters were clear and the beach was perfect for soaking in the sun or walking the pier on one end or the Sandollar restaurant which is a good 45 minute walk... More

Anna Maria Island Beach is our favorite beach. It is stunning, pristine and everything about it is breathtaking. It looks and feels like the beaches you find in the Caribbean. It has beautiful turquoise waters, clean soft sand, the views are gorgeous and it is very tranquil. If you enjoy long walks along the beach a walk to Bean Point... More

Bean Point has a superior view of the intersection of two great bodies of water: Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. At the very north end of Anna Maria Island, the currents can be very strong, incoming or outgoing tides, and the bottom drops away rapidly. So do NOT go swimming at Bean Point. But you'll love the view... More

Whats not to like. Starting off from the Sandbar restaurant, taking the beach route, this is a lovely place to visit. Lovely white sand, beautiful sunset views. Watch out for beached jellyfish if walking barefoot!

Great shelling here. This is a non-commercial area, very quiet and peaceful. Great for families, older people, everyone will like this beach. Go to the pier if you need anything. The surrounding neighborhood has some really nice homes.

This beach is amazing. Perfect for walking in the early morning, sunning in the afternoon or seeing the sunset. The sand is like velvet and the water is beautiful. If you stay in the northern part of the city of Anna Maria it's very easy to walk or bike to the beach.

This area is the best place to sit in the sand and watch the surf. The only issue is finding a parking spot

One of the most beautiful places to beach walk or watch the sunset. Incomparable to any other beach in the world.
