An short hike down a well laid out trail leads you to an unspoiled throw back to the Florida of yesteryear. It's the perfect place for a picnic. Bring your camera - some of the best beach shots you will find.

Nice spot to visit and take a long walk along the beach. Expansive view. Parking along street can be difficult though; discouraged by some locals

This clean, broad beach at the Gulf/Bay point of Anna Marie Islanf Florida. Not sure about suitability for swimming, lots of rip tides on island beaches.

Great view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Peaceful point of the island. We go back every year when we visit AMI to Bean Point.

Definitely worth the trip to the tip of the island. Easy to get to. Lots of beach access on the island.

This is a nice walk, but there are better beach walks. There isn't much to do on Anna maria island so maybe that is why this get such great reviews. There is limited parking so you might want to park at holmes beach and take the trolley.

The beach access signs we saw never mentioned Bean Point so we just parked along the street and walked - figuring we would see a sign somewhere. We never saw a sign, but it was obvious we were at the right place when we saw the 'point'. Another poster also mentioned this - make sure you park properly on the... More

We just spent 5 weeks on AMI. We were staying on Holmes beach and absolutely loved walking to Bean Point, where the bay meets the ocean. Stunning view! Great place for pics.

This is the point (quite a right angle, actually) where the Tampa Bay meets the Gulf of Mexico. Beach is decent but the rip tide is STRONG so no swimming.

Visited AMI for the first time in November 2015. Had heard about Bean Point, and decided to check it out one day. No problems finding a place to park. Like previous reviewers have said, just find an access point and then find parking on one of the side streets. Just remember that your tires can't touch the road when you... More
