There is always something going on in the park. It is well kept and nice to walk around, sit and read or join a yoga class. They are currently building a walk completely around the lake.

Years ago, this started out as a borrow pit, a swamp, created by the construction of a local hotel. A very progressive thinker in the city of Altamonte Springs came up with the concept of creating an area with multiple personalities; lake, walking/running path, performing arts area, festival area, and more. It is a pleasant area, yes it is next... More

Not really my vision of a Park, more of a good place for a stroll and shopping. But wait there is the Red, White and Boom Fireworks on the Fourth of July. Other than that, probably defined as an Urban PARK.

It's a great park, great surroundings and it's well maintained. It should be noted that they are doing a lot of construction there though so be aware of that. You can feel safe being there later in the evening (not too late) as there are lots of joggers and walkers around. As well as park maintenance staff on golf cars... More

My dog loves walking around cranes roast. She is so friendly and loves seeing all the other dogs. The park is very clean and well maintained. If you don't have a dog you can walk and then go to eat at the restaurants right there or catch a movie. The mall is right there as well.

The park is attractive and it's maintained nicely. It's pretty to be able to walk on the bridge across the water.

I wouldn't go back. Some of the runners are very rude, weaving in and out of people, knocking into you, almost running into you. They think they "own the path". But when you defend your territory, they have a fit. Not worth it.
