Amid the hustle of the shopping and dining scene in Altamonte Springs there is a beautiful oasis. The one mile walk around the lake is very pleasant and relaxing. There are seating areas located along the paved walk around the lake so one can take in the beauty. Or, if so inclined, one can walk or run around the lake.

Altamonte mall is decent. Plenty of restruants to choose from. Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World are a half hour away. It's just a busy place and the weather is great.

I live about 5 minutes from this park and it has everything that you need, they have amazing events, starting in spring all the way to christmas time. You can go for a jog (1 mile around the park), go for a romantic walk, to relax and read a book or just to enjoy the sunset. They have a nice... More

In the center of everything and has multiple events scheduled throughout the year. Within walking distance of the Mall and local eateries. Very nice.

Good for a nice walk around the lake, about a mile around. The speakers playing music are totally unnecessary, though.

It's a little piece of fun and paradise in Altamonte Springs. So many events and things going on there all the time. My birthday is in December and every year my family joins me in a walk around the lake to enjoy the Christmas decorations. They are all lit up and filled with creativity and a special joy to the... Duke Energy and maybe other sponsors - present a whimsical lighted one mile walk around the lake. There is plenty to see. It was enjoyed by our seven year old up to 75 year old grandma in the group. It is free, pretty and barely notice you've walked a mile.

I highly recommend walking around especially during the holiday season. Great weather and light display. Dog friendly. Only thing was that all the lights just went off at a strange time when we were there, so make sure to find out what time the lights will go out. You don't want to be on the other side of the water... More

Great area to relax, workout, walk around the lake, etc. There were people out walking, jogging and running. There were also people just sitting and enjoying themselves. We got lunch and just relaxed for about an hour and then did some shopping in the shopping area adjacent to Crane's Roost. Great area overall!

This is a great place to go walk or just sit out and enjoy the weather. Looking out over the water with nice music piped in from time to time. There are always very nice events held there. Outdoors movies for the families and a variety music concerts and festivals.
