You would never know you are in the middle of a metro area. This will take you into the loveliest forest walk.

We found a nice shady place to sit and throw a worm in the water. There were quite a few JetSki's and it was a bit noisy. But we enjoyed our day fishing. This park also has horseback riding, biking and hiking trails, swim beach, picnic areas, camping places and even a place to dock your boat .

This is a nice part and there is a lot to do. Bike trails, camping, gun range, boating all in one place. There is a fee, I bought the year pass which is good for more parks.

They have an off leash dog park here that is fairly clean with how many dogs and people that come through here. There is a place to unload your boat and take that out in the lake and a huge area to have some great bbqs in the summer.

Great place for fun in the sun. Nice sandy sloping swim beach. Boat ramps on both sides of the lake. Picnic areas throughout with some covered tables next to the road on the southwest side. Bike trails, concrete and asphalt throughout park. A marina in the SW corner. If it a sunny weekend, I'm likely on the beach or on... More

Love cherry creek and it's easy accessibility. It's hard to find beachfront property in Colorado and having this practically in our backyard makes up for it! I've spent countless Sundays and Mondays fishing, kayaking, or picnicking here. The only bummer can be it's a small lake and the jet skiiers can really dominate the peace and quiet. :( if you... Been here many times and always found it peacful and a place to recharge. Wonderful place to walk and just take in the ceanery and the solitude. Ideal place to get away from the hustle and bussle of the city while still being there. Highly recommended.

Recently went for a long walk after it had snowed ad was a beautiful sunny crisp afternoon. We saw lot's of deer who kept appearing at different places throughout the walk. Even in winter it's a pretty park to walk through and in the fall it's fun to enjoy all the golds and orange colors on the trees along with... More

I used to visit this place as a kid, birthday parties, swim days, etc. I have to say this place always remains full. They have the swim section where all the kids and family can enjoy a splash in the sun. They have the other section for boats and water jet skis. Everyone seems to have their pets leashed which...
