Great place to meet fellow campers, boaters, fishing and swimming. A safe park to visit. A good place for locals to meet in the Denver area, as well as out of towners to stay and be within the Denver Metro area.

The cherry creek state park offers a magnificent view of the mountains n the skyline of DTC. It has a nice mix of awesome trails...wildlife..a marina n mountain views. The reservoir is humongous attracting lot of activities. Perfectly located near I-225 and Parker rd....it is an oasis in disguise. Last but not the least....if u love green...this is the place...

Love this piece of wilderness . Great at dawn and dusk to see all the wildlife, and best on quiet weekdays when there is lots of parking and space. We don't go on those crowded weekends but thry to get out there several times a month to just breathe away from the hustle of Denver traffic. Great place to paddle... More

This is our favorite park to ride bikes at and to go walking. In the summer you can rent machines to take out on the water. Lots of fun to be had!!!

We love the dog park at Cherry Creek. Daisy enjoys swimming and chasing butterflies. I love the serenity and seeing wildlife.

I have ridden my bike there and they have some very nice roads and bike trails. I have also waterskied in the reservoir and had a fun time. The rest rooms are clean and in the early morning you can see deer sometimes. I have not camped there but have friends that do.

We didn't want a regular wedding. We wanted a Luau. So we reserved space at one of the many picnic areas. We had a great time swimming, eating dancing and just generally having fun. Although we had to leave at 7pm which took a little away from the fun. All in all it was a great time.

Creek, lake, beach, camping, wild animals, bike paths, Pheasant, Owls, and snakes are all available for a low CO St Parks pass. Kids can explore each day for a month and still not run out of nature lessons. Clean, safe and friendly. Negatives: fully packed on holidays with a car line out to the main roads; beaches closed periodically for... More

We needed to stay 2 weeks while on family business in the Denver area. We had to move frequently due to site availability. There are over 100 RV sites with full hook-ups. Enjoyed the park. Make your reservations early to avoid my situation of having to move around daily.

Lake very far from campgrounds in the back, places for RV very spacious and leveled, staff friendly and courteous.
