Sweet 8 mile paved path around the reservoir!

Great place for a sunrise run or bike ride! There are several stoping points with both bathrooms and benches. I have seen bald eagles, deer, coyotes, raccoon and more!

Out for a ride, When we thought we would just stop in at the park and see you what's new. The park is still great for fishing and swimming. Lots and lots of open space it's always very warm there and windy most of the time.

I love this place, and I am glad it is in our new neighborhood! I wish they had additional rentals of kayaks, etc, because there is always a long line.

A clean and fun place to visit. Very small, so not an ocean, but no body of water in Colorado is very large. Watch out for rangers who are bored and looking to give tickets for whatever.

It's a really nice place to go near Aurora for a close family outdoor outing. I've yet to catch a fish here so that makes me sad. The kids liked renting the little boat and having fun on the lake. Maybe stock the fish more?!?

I have not been here during the busy summer season but I was there in the Spring while people were enjoying the many large covered bbq, picnic table areas. The concession stand hadn't opened yet but it looked like they had a nice amount of snack food to offer. What I was really impressed with was how clean the entire... More

For the day out we (My daughter & I ) drove 40 min to have a day out & a swim. The beach area was pleasant with life guards on duty. There was a few camp groups there but not too crowded. We pack a picnic and 2 small beach chairs.. my daughter made a octopus in the sand.I was... More

Not quite Cherry Creek but also not usually as crowded. The beaches are nice, and the kids had a great time playing in the sand. With Cherry Creek so close, there's not usually very many people here during the week.

The beach area is great for spending the day with friends or taking kids to play. Plenty of shade from picnic areas or trees. The water is usually clear, a decent temperature (except really cold at the start of summer) and you can find small tadpoles easily. There is also a designated area to swim, making it a nice to...
