We enjoyed the Monday night documentary series in the historic opera house complete with concession bar and balcony. A nice apres ski option.

This has been refurbished and is a charming example of mining days of the 1880's silver boom in a city that produced the largest silver nugget.

I go to the Wheeler every chance I get. The variety of shows is astounding...even Nobel physicists give talks there...Opra did her show from there. Lilly Langtree sang there. It has been wonderfully and lovingly restored and updated...excellent acoustics too.

We went to see a musical (Annie) at Wheeler Opera House. A small and beautiful theater. Lots of families, locals and tourists - great fun for all, and the show was professional quality He had a huge surprise when we saw one of the stars of the show was a United Airlines gate agent at Aspen airport! :)
