My husband and I decided to spend a couple of days in Aspen and wanted something interesting to do around town. We signed up for the Aspen After Dark tour with Dean and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fun to learn some history and legends about Aspen.Dean showed up with an old law man outfit complete with a lantern. I... More

This was an entertaining and informative tour of the town of Aspen. Dean made it fun and kept us all engaged as he told of some very interesting incidents throughout the history of the town. The "dark side" captured the attention of our teens and kept us captivated, as well. Definitely a tour worth taking!

The Dark Side tour was awesome and a lot of fun. Dean is really energetic and knowledgeable. The tour presents a unique look at the unsung history of the Aspen area.

We wanted something the whole family could do and this was a hit! We are a family of 7 with 3 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids (12 and 9). Dean was extremely informative as we took "The Dark Side of Aspen" tour but did it in an animated and interesting way. The night was drizzling and cool and it... More

I don't ski so am always looking for alternative things to do. This was great. Dean accommodated me by doing this tour as I was alone . He was very informative and bought Aspen alive showing me the past history of the Ute people, the silver mining and the present day ski tourism. Very informative. Would recommend to anyone who... I love when I travel to new towns, taking a walking tour to understand the way the town and its people grew up thru the ages. We were lucky today that we had a walking tour that really spent time on the architecture, the people and legends of the town. Dean did an awesome job of relating the stories while... More

In July, we took our family of eight to Aspen to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were married at the Aspen Chapel in 1974. Everyone loved Aspen and we had a spectacular time. On a previous visit, my wife and I enlisted Dean Weiler for a Past/Present Tour and found it very interesting. This time we booked the Off... More

We had a great time on The Darkside Tour. Dean did a wonderful job of incorporating some local history, spooky stories and a sense of drama in our evening. We had our 9 yr. old and teenager on the tour and both were very entertained. I love to do these ghost walk/creepy local history nighttime tours in most every city... More

My wife and I took the Off the Beaten Path Tour earlier this month. We started from the Wheeler Opera House, walked through the Victorian neighborhood, and walked along nature paths to the river. It was so much better than expected! First of all, Dean did a very good job. He was passionate about the tour, and we appreciated it... More

The Darkside Tour was really fun. We were the only two people on the tour and I wondered initially if it might be cut short, but it wasn't. We got the whole hour and it was packed with cool stories about Aspen. I liked that we got to see so much of downtown and Dean had answers to my many... More
