went to Windstar before they removed the statue..It was so great to see it and be able to walk around the area that John Denver loved.Got great pictures of the JD statue.. ...

Don't miss this piece of heaven. Trails to walk. John's meditation platform high above the land. Plus his statue and the bench dedicated to Erma. No wonder John loved it as he did.

I absolutely loved walking around the larger-than-life statue of John, which was gorgeous with the eagle on his arm and guitar on his back. The podium is surounded by bricks that have been carved by donors to Windstar (I read that $100 gets a brick - not bad at all!). So many well-wishes for John, soooo many song quotes from... More

This is the second time in the last 5 years I've visited Windstar Land Conservancy. Situated in a lovely valley, it has mountain views and a real sense of serenity. Open to the public, Windstar provides a peaceful place in which one can sit and view the large bronze statue of founder/singer John Denver. Nearby sits the geodesic dome within... More
