This is a 'don't miss' attraction in Aspen. If you have time and plan on seeing Maroon Bells, be sure and buy the combo ticket. You get admission to both the gondola and the bus ride to Maroon Bells plus a $10 credit for food at the top of the gondola ride. The sandwiches are generous and quite tasty, plus... More

This was amazing. It was a nice easy ride and it is handicapped accessible even for wheel chairs. The view from the top of the mountain is beautiful and there is someone to take your picture if necessary.

This was a mid-August visit so obviously no snow or skiiing. The gondola ride up was fun, and at times, quite gusty causing the gondola to sway. It was unnerving at first but after two or three times it was kind of fun. The restaurant at the top didn't look appealing so BRING YOUR OWN FOOD to save time and... More

Silver Queen brings you to a beautiful location on the mountain. A great spot for lunch at the Sun Deck.

We were going to skip it, seemed too expensive after the free Telluride gondola , but it's the only way to get there, the ride is long and the view is spectacular. There's a restaurant on top, and in summer some kids stuff. But the view from 11,200 feet is the reason to go. 20 dollars per person

Riding the Silver Queen Gondola was a fun way to spend the morning. We enjoyed the beautiful views at the top. The people that work the Gondola were friendly and helped answer several questions. We would recommend this as a great family friendly activity for all ages. They have some neat play areas at the top to keep the young... More

If you have never been on a ski lift this should be exciting. If you have, no big reason to ride. There is average food on the top, the views are great but a drive up independence pass is just as good or better. This year in trying to improve the experience for tourists it has become too touristy! If... More

Good views of the surrounding terrain and people with fear of heights can manage it. Lots of diversions up at the top for families and food and drink.

We took the gondola trip to the top of Aspen Mountain and had a great little trip. The ride up and down was amazing to see (not good if you are scared off heights), you can see over the mountains surrounding Aspen and see much more. The hikes out from the top are fun, especially one going out on the... More

This is a long Gondola ride with great views all the way up. It's around 12,000 ft elevation at the top so be prepared. Drink plenty of water and head up on the second day or so of your visit after you have acclimated. Restaurant at the top has decent food but no ice cream. Go to Paradise bakery before... More
