The view from the top is amazing, very kid friendly with alot to do at the top or just sit and enjoy God's creation. I really don't like heights but I was not scared on this at all

Don't miss a ride to the top in this comfortable gondola. Great photo ops! Be careful to pick a sunny time of day. It is not as pleasant in bad weather.

If you're going to be in Aspen for at least 3 days, I recommend getting the 3 day pass. You can ride to the top of the mountain on 3 consecutive days, plus you get bus tickets for the trip to Maroon Bells, PLUS you get vouchers for $10 of food. Plus, there's plenty to do and see at the... More

It's a lovely ride up and down the mountain in the gondola with beautiful views along the way. We took our golden retriever with us - yes, they allow dogs in certain gondola cars (they are identified by a paw print on the side of the gondola.) Once at the top there is a lovely gentle trail with beautiful views... More

Yes the cost to ride the gondola is a bit much at $19.00 per person, so plan to spend several hours - also - a bottle of water is $3.75 - so come prepared with your own snacks & water & sun screen - remember sun screen and hats! There is an easy Nature Hike worth the hike to see... More

The gondola was renovated many years ago. The update was sorely needed. The cars are now comfortable and spacious. The red cars even have an jack to attach your iPhone/ipod (iPhone 4 unfortunately). The problem is that they did not replace the towers, cables, or motor when they renovated the gondola. A ride to the top, at best, takes 15... More

Get the $29 three day pass. We used this in aspen and snowmass. I think there was another location as well. There were restaurants at the top. A $10 plus credit is available too for each person. There were activities such as rock wall and Euro bingo for the kids. Nice trails too at both location.s

Well worth the $29 3-day pass. We enjoyed the views, discounted lunch and plenty of options for entertainment.

My husband and I were lucky enough to take the Silver Queen Gondola up to the top for a party during the Food and Wine Festival. The view of Aspen as it gets futher and further away.....amazing. The views from the top of Mt. Aspen...WOW. You can see in all directions. The sunset we witnessed was simply breathtaking.
