It doesn't get more beautiful than riding up to the top of the mountain. Eat lunch on top. The grilled cheese was superb!

Aspen skiers get this winter wonderland view when they go skiing. Fabulous views! Lots to do at the top in the Summer, especially for kids.....rock climbing and kid's bungee. The food is good. The perfect place to take your family Christmas card photo any time of year.

You must ride the gondola to the top of Aspen Mountain in both summer and winter, as the views are spectacular and they change so much with the seasons. There is a great cafeteria on top of the mountain and this is a very special mountain to ski. in summer there is music on the weekends, and activities for kids,... More

We took advantage of the special 29$ ticket..includes Silver Queen Gondola ride, 10$credit on eating at restaurant at top and, Maroon Bells bus ride, activities. We started hiking at 9 am at Maroon Bells (1 1/2 hours round trip) and returning to Aspen to take Gondola Ride to eat at top (12:30pm). The Gondola ride was fun and we took... More

I was surprised by how much there is to do and see at the top of the mountain, in summer. Nice lodge. Activities for the kids. Hiking trails. And even some nice places to have a seat and soak it all in. The trip was 'worth the price of admission' and the gondola staff was friendly and helpful on both... More

The gondola ride is a very nice slow relaxing ride with stunning views as you see the city of Aspen disappear in the distance. Once you get to the top you will feal like you are in the clouds walking between the peaks.

Nice scenic ride to the top of Mt. Ajax. However, not much to do up there in the summer. Just a nice spot to grab a bite of some alright food. Not much else, but enjoy the view of the pine forest.

The views while riding the gondola are amazing, especially when the weather is nice. At the top we took a nice "hike" along the nature trail with great views of all the surrounding mountain ranges. If you take a red gondola they play music inside, or you can plug in your own device to listen.

This might have been a great experience if they told us at the bottom that we would see nothing at the top bc it was socked in bc of the weather. We literally saw nothing. $38/2
