what great place to eat outdoors when the sun is shining and watch the activity at the base of the mountain. Great people watching. Don't miss the mussels and frites. Soups are equally as good

Love this mountain is great fun. Easy access from the Little Nell. Great fun and variety. Nice long runs and for this time of year the snow was really good.

This is a small mountain. You would think with the Aspen name, it would be larger, but it is not. Locals take the gondola up and down but tourists take the gondola up and ski down. It is a beautiful view for sure. Colorado mountains are beautiful. I would ski it at least once. The view of the town too... More

Local knowledge is a must on this mountain. Knowing where to be when is critical. It's not a big mountain, but has almost endless lines for those in the know.

One can't avoid seeing these beautiful peaks (why would you?) and they certainly are a treat for the eyes. But snow appears quite early so be prepared for any change in weather.

Traveling to the summit in the gondola is just the beginning of a perfect day's skiing on wonderful runs and in the summer months a great place to hike a little way and sit to take in the fabulous views of Aspen Highlands

Just returned from Aspen in September when the leaves are just beginning to turn. After a day of acclimation, I began to run the trails on Ajax. Awesome experience - they are fairly steep and tougher going down than up. Great views with opportunity for wildlife sightings! Awesome skiing in the winter as well.
