Aspen mountain is beautiful, but also extreemly difficult to ski. This is the most advanced mountain out of the four to choose from, so only try if you have the experience. This mountain is also beautiful during the summer.

I had the best time of my life. Amazing place to visit and I will comeback. I will suggest to bring snacks with you and wake up early so you can enjoy the day.

Whether it's all the great vertical feet, the conversations on the chairlifts and gondola, or the crowds at Bonnie's, this mountain is a fun time in the winter and summer. A must ski on during your time in Aspen. If you are looking for the "locals mountain" it's Aspen Highlands.

My personal favorite ski resort, since 2001. The city of Aspen is beautiful, and Ajax mountain as a backdrop, is just breathtakingly beautiful. Ajax is the toughest of all the ski areas, but I stick to it because it's the most challenging and I don't have to hop on a bus with my equipment to go to the other resorts.... More

Skied Aspen and loved it. Excellent and organized with easy access from downtown Aspen. Slopes are a bit more advanced than other Aspen mountains but still something for all levels. Also, good apres ski drink/eat options. Food at summit also excellent!

Ajax seems to be the smallest of the four Aspen ski areas. It also appears to have the steepest terrain with no green/beginner, which helps keep the lift lines moving. We skied 18k vertical feet in about 5hrs on the mountain, including a stop for lunch. It's a nice mountain but only skiable for one day.

It's the best view of Aspen. And don't think it's only for skiers. You cab go all the way up in the gondola and at top there is a good restaurant. Tell the ticket agent that you are not going to ski. They will sell you a sightseeing ticket that includes $10.00 worth at restaurant ($32 per adult valid for... More

A lift ticket costs $129.00 for an adult. With that, I would expect the attendants at the Gondola at Ajax Mountain to help put mine and my families skis into the ski holders. I was skiing the mountain on 1/7/15 and not once did anyone help me at the base. This while three attendants stood around and talked to each... More

Great snow, great terrain, and great staff! We enjoyed a great run with one of the mountain ambassadors and loved the tour of his favorite parts of the mountain. Conditions were impressive for early season, and the terrain here just can't be beat.
