Catalina Snorkeling and Scuba not to be mistaken with the other place. This was a wonderful experience. Our instructor Tim was knowledgeable and fun. Next time we are going to try scuba diving. This is the place to go for gear and great instructors if you want to scuba and snorkel in the beautiful ocean surrounding St. Catalina Island.

First off let me say this is my first time diving in the Pacific, so it is much different than diving in the Atlantic in South Florida. David was very thorough with all the checks and safety and explained since the water is much colder that we needed to neoprene up! So with a dive skin, insulator, and dive suit,... More

Dave was very patient, great at explaining / teaching, and a great guide :-). The marine diversity and kelp forest were awesome.

My my college-age grandson and I rented equipment from Catalina Snorkeling and Scuba and just had a blast. They are located very close to Lover's Cove which is the Marine sanctuary. They stored our belongings at no charge and gave us a great deal of helpful information about the marine life we would be seeing. We did not participate in one... More

My scout troop did a snorkeling tour with Catalina Snorkel & Scuba. They were very accommodating for my group and worked well with me in advance to get the reservations set up. It took a long time to actually get in the water and waiting around on a hot day in a wet suit wasn't fun. The instructor took time... More

I traveled here with my family. My sister and my dad's girlfriend snorkeled and my dad and I scuba dived. David was VERY helpful, he explained everything very thoroughly so we knew exactly what to do for whatever happened, whether our regulator got water in it, our goggles, if our ears hurt, and so much more. When we got out... More

It was our first time snorkeling and it was great. It was a good amount of time spent out on the water and wetsuits and equipment were great. We saw tons of fish, crab, lobster and amazing new world underneath.
