Our 4 hour tour flew by and was most informative. Stephen did a great job tell us about the island's history and about the local animals, flora and fauna. We saw Bison that walked so close to our jeep, we could have almost reached out and touch him! Highly recommend and strongly encourage you to wear pants and bring a... More

Cindy was an excellent tour guide- she sang jazz standards, told jokes, and gave a great tour of Santa Catalina. The tour included the Conservancy, beaches, history, airport, wildflowers and more!

We took the Catalina Express over from Long Beach on 6:15am ferry on a Monday morning and had the waterfront to ourselves as shops and restaurants were getting ready to open. Walked along waterfront to the Casino, which is a gathering place and theater. Beautiful to see the orange fish in the clear waters. Ventured back to green pier and... More

We took the Cape Canyon tour as our first day to see Catalina. Great choice, as it prepared us to make good choices with follow-on activities. Bear was our guide - a tall, huge, warm being with a wonderful manner for giving a tour. When we saw him later from our hotel balcony we yelled hello and cheered. The tour... More

The Cape Canyon expedition takes in about 2/3 of the island's back country - and overlaps many of the smaller tours - so I highly recommend this tour as it is very comprehensive. My tour departed at 9:00 AM - and returned 4 hours and 15 minutes later ---- stopping at the Airport in the Sky so we could grab... More

This is an excellent way to see the island. Our driver/guide, Cindy was knowledgeable and fun, and it was apparent she did her research. A jazz singer too, she treated us to a lovely song. The open-air Hummer was a perfect way to enjoy the scenic views. Cindy was a careful and capable driver and gave us a thriling experience... More

Went on the 4 hours overland Cape Canyon Expedition hummer outback tour. Loved the whole thing. Cindy made it a fun trip. We did see multiple Bison and with her oration it was a most memorable day trip.

Our tour guide, Bear, was exceptional. Very friendly, approachable, and accommodating. The tour itself was unforgettable - not good for those afraid of heights, however. If you go in the off season, be sure to bring a hoodie or hat, and a scarf - the wind can be bitingly cold. I wouldn't miss this tour if I were you!

This expedition is about the views, the interesting and challenging roads that traverse this very steep rock island, the many off road areas, the beaches on the windward side, and of course the guide is crucial. You won't see many other vehicles on this tour. This was Cesar's 2nd week on the job - but, he's educated, articulate, is a... More
